Unique concept that has been copied in more upscale trendy establishments. This used to be the "in" place back in the 50s and 60s for Del Mar Race Track devotees. This is a laid back place as mentioned looks divey but is actually quite cool. They have a killer jukebox featuring lots of Johnny Cash, Elvis, Social Distortion, Clash, oldies, etc. You get your dinner as a piece of raw meat in saran wrap on a plate and you go to the cooking station in middle of the restaurant. Drinks are strong and fairly cheap.
