Debbie, the owner of Agawa Travel is wonderful. My husband and I have used her for our travel plans for over ten years now. She is very helpful and friendly. She really goes out of her way to ensure that your travel plans are uneventful and all that you expect them to be. Just a few months ago, my husband and I went on a trip to the Bahamas for our ten year anniversary. Debbie Agawa booked everything for us and we were off. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the resort, we were given a different room than what we booked and were told that the suite we booked had been sold out. We were furious. We were expecting a partial ocean view suite and instead had been given a view of a parking lot and the room was not a suite. We called Agawa travel and told Debbie what was going on. She called the resort and within an hour we were in an ocean view suite with twenty-four hour concierge service. In addition, that evening she sent a card up to us with gift certificates for spa services at the resort. She is a top rate agent and I would recommend her to everyone who is looking for someone to help them with travel plans.

My husband and I had taken our newborn son to Dr. Robertson for his first check-up when he was just a few weeks old. I had chosen this doctor from a list of pediatricians under our insurance plan. During our visit Dr. Robetson seemed very cold and incompassionate. He came into the room with not even a hint of a smile and asked us to lay the baby down on the table. He hardly asked us any questions and just proceeded to quickly examine our son. My son was crying almost continuously throughout the examination and Dr. Robertson didn't even attempt to comfort him and put him at ease. When the examination was done he didn't even ask if we had any questions. At the end of the examination he proceeded to ask if my son was breast or bottlefed and when I tried to answer he abruptly interrupted me and asked that one of us attempt to quiet our child down outside the room while the other answered his question. He seemed very irritated by my crying baby (and it wasn't as if my son was wailing at the time, he was simply fussing). I was really irritated by the fact that a pediatrician could be so cold toward a baby. I can not understand why he is in the profession that he is in if he doesn't even seem to like children. Needless to say, I never took my son back to this doctor and I don't recommend him to anyone.

I have gone to this hospital for the birth of both my children and also when my son was ill. It is the only hospital in this city and most of the people I know around here are forced to go here. Each and everytime I have ever been to this hospital I have encountered rude and incompassionate nurses and hospital personnel. The hospital is old and it really shows its age. One example of the service provided by this hospital is when I went there to have my second child. This was just two and a half years ago. I walked into the admitting area (I was pre-registered too) after being sent over by my OB doctor who found that I was 5 centimeters dialated and 90% effaced. I was also a month early. My doctor had called over to the hospital to let them know I was coming. When I arrived I was having moderately intense contractions and was quite uncomfortable. I checked in and was told to have a seat and wait for someone to come down and escort me up by wheelchair. So, I waited.....and waited....and waited....a half hour later the admitting nurse looked over at me and said, "oh you're still there?" I told her I could just walk up myself and that I really didn't need a wheelchair. She said no, and that she would called up for a wheelchair again and that someone would be right down for me. Again, I waited........and waited......and waited. Another half hour went by and the admitting nurse looked over at me again and said, "oh they still haven't come down for you?" By this point I was furious and so was my husband. I was very uncomfortable and I was beginning to think I was going to have this child right there in the waiting room. Then, the woman said, "Can you just walk up yourself? They are waiting for you." UNBELIEVEABLE!!

The Ross department store in this city is ok. Sometimes you can find some really good deals. However, the store is quite disorganized and small. I would much rather shop at the Ross in San Luis as they seem to have a bigger selection to choose from.

The Walmart in this city is not great. Although the prices are low, the store is always very crowded and disorganized. The store always seems dirty, overcrowded and cluttered. The aisle ways are narrow and it is really hard to push a cart anywhere through this store. I like the prices at Walmart, but I choose to go elsewhere and pay a bit more instead of dealing with all the issues this store has.

This place is a branch off the well known Jockos Restaurant in Nipomo. Jockos is a small steakhouse which is family owned and operated. Little Jockos is simply the fast food extension of Jockos where you can get burgers, fries, hot-dogs, patty melts, ect. The food is good and the prices are not bad.

I really like this restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The one thing that everyone I know talks about when it comes to this restaurant is the portions. They give you a lot of food for a very reasonable price. So, if you try this restaurant you should be good and hungry because you will leave feeling happy and full.
