Ellen's is the place in town that everyone goes to get something silkscreened. Although maybe not the best price in the area, the people are nice and always willing to help the customer. They'll even help you modify your design for maximum appearance on the shirts. Another plus for the store is that they have a fast turn-around time. They'll get your shirts done really quickly. Only downside is that sometimes the quality isn't always that great, but they'll redo it if its that bad.

So I haven't really boughten anything at Foremost Liquour besides lottery tickets, but the people that work there are really nice. They keep their store clean and always great customers that come into the store. The best part I've found about buying lottery tickets from there is that I win more than usual when I play there. I think the most I've won in a single ticket has been about $50, but imagine continually winning when you play. So if you need to get some drinks and want to maybe win a few bucks, this place is great to go to.

The Rialto has become a fixture of South Pasadena's history and heritage. Located on Fair Oaks Avenue, they often show independent movies or movies that are somewhat old. On Friday nights ( i think) they show the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Lots of people come out, some even in costume. The price for a ticket is acceptable, but the some of the seats are broken, so make sure you check before you sit down.

Buster's is a place that's been a part of South Pasadena for as long as I can remember. A part of 'downtown' South Pasadena, Busters is always full with people and has an amazing aroma coming out of it. Their coffee is wonderful and their ice cream satisfies the taste buds. Its a great place to get a cup of coffee and just sit back and relax. The coffee and ice cream is affordable, so you won't break the bank continually visiting the place.

This place serves good coffee and always has a good aroma both inside the shop and outside. Most of the seating area is outside as the coffee shop is barely big enough for just the counter and register. My only complaint with this place is that there are a lot of artsy people (not that I have anythign against them) but that theyre there all day doing drawings so finding seating is sometimes quite hard. Also, there's a lot of smoking going on outside so if you cant handle smoke, maybe get your coffee and take a walk around the library thats across the street. But other than those complaints, they have good coffee.

This place is stocked with asian toys and gifts that any asian girl or girl would love. They carry the famous mashimaro and numerous other characters. Its great going in there to shop for your all your female friends when its their birthday, you're bound to find something there they'll like. Prices are acceptable as most of the items need to be imported from Japan or Korea.

This place is a so-so magic and costume shop. They sell many different items, but many of them are over-priced. You need to know how much the item you want normally costs before you go in so you don't get ripped off. Their costumes selection is acceptable. I haven't actually bought/rented a costume from there, so I can't comment on the quality or cleanliness.

This place is a great family owned bike shop. Often times on the weekend you'll see the owner's daughters working there. They're really great at helping you pick out a new bike or get some new accessories for it. They're competitive in their pricing, even cutting you a deal if you say you found it cheaper elsewhere sometimes. Their selection of bikes is also very impressive, considering the size of the store.

Calling this place a pharmacy is mis-leading. A city landmark in South Pasadena, this place has been around for many many years and has not changed very much. It represents a classic pharmacy that one might find many years ago. They have a soda fountain in addition to the pharmacy so you can go and have a milk shake while you wait for yoru medicine to be filled. Great nostalgia place!
