This slowly decaying establishment was once teeming with customers. As new and better restaurants started popping out in its neighborhood, Yan's SoupCon slowly lost its customers.
People forget though, how good the roast duck rice is, and the beef with tomato on rice. My personal favorite is a dish called Chinese Pork Chop, served on rice. I usually douse it with their homemade soy sauce (which is quite different from store-bought soy sauces) and a few spoonfuls of their homemade hot sauce.
Their prices can't be beat too, at $5 (on average) per plate.
