Massis Kabob is located in the food court of the Motebello mall. I always get the combo plate which includes a ton of rice with curry sauce on the side, a large skewer of chicken kabob, a large skewer of ground beef kabob, a side (I get humus), and a grilled tomato. All this is about $7 which you can't beat. I always have left overs, unless I go with my boyfriend and he eats it all.

My family and I used to go to Tokyo Lobby all the time when we lived in the area. I recently went back with my co-workers and found that the previous quality of the restaurant itself, the staff, and the food had gone down significantly. The place kinda smells (the carpet probably needs to be changed), the meat is half fat, and we waited atleast 20 minutes extra because the waiter forgot about us. I now tell people not to go here. Their only redeeming quality is the cheap prices.

Koji's is so good! All the ingredients are very fresh and healthy. For shabu shabu there are two different sauces for dipping the meats and veggies as well as green onions, dicon, chili. The staff is nice and I've never had a problem there. They have a frequent diner card for lunch. The prices vary depending on what you order, but for the average person it's about $10 for the entree. If you haven't tried shabu shabu you must! The concept is that you cook your own pre-sliced meat and veggies in a boiling pot of water in front of you.

I've been to NBC for a wedding and it seems like this is a popular place to have parties. The food is pretty good traditional Chinese cuisine. It is a busy place and the parking lot can get crowded, but not so bad that you can't find a parking spot. This is a good restaurant to visit with family.

I went to Old Town Pizza because they had a coupon in the entertainment book. This place has pretty quick service. They have all the normal toppings to be expected at a pizza place. Parking is easy to find and is free. I wouldn't say that Old Town Pizza is anything great but it is better than Pizza Hut or Dominos.

I used to walk here from UCLA med. center on breaks at night and grab a bite to eat. They sell pizza by the slice in the range of $2/slice which isn't bad since it's really good. Since Lamonica's is in Westwood the parking isn't great but they do deliver. The owner really does have a red Lamborghini (explains the drawing on the menu), I've seen it!

This museum, of course dedicated to Elvis, is somewhat small but does have an extensive collection of memorabilia. There are several cars and costumes that Elvis owned as well as many other records, tickets, photos, etc. There are free Elvis impersonator shows every so often and a gift shop. I think the admission price is a bit high but if you really love Elvis you would enjoy the museum. There are some videos playing inside the museum showing clips from his movies as well. I would estimate that I spent about 1-2 hours there.

The Gold Coast may not be fancy or on the strip but it is still my favorite hotel. It is right next door to the Palms and the Rio hotels which is convenient if you go to the clubs at either of those hotels then you can just walk back to your room at the Gold Coast. They have a free shuttle that goes to its sister property the Barbary Coast about every 20 minutes, so getting to the strip is not a problem. The hotel has a really good buffet, bowling alley, ice cream shop, coffee shop, and all the other usual hotel/casino stuff. The rooms are standard and clean. There is a parking structure so parking is not a problem.

Being that it is owened by the same company as Cheesecake Factory, Grand Luxe has a huge menu. I went for lunch and there was a line to get in. The restaurant has fancy decorations but at lunch the attire was pretty casual. I had a salad and my boyfriend had a burger. We both really liked our choices. They also have very good coffee. It is located in the Venetian hotel on the casino level.

Ellis Island is located a bit off the strip so you would have to know where it is to find it. I got into Vegas around 8am and went for breakfast. For $4 I got a steak, bread, hashbrowns, and 2 eggs. You really can't beat a deal like that. For breakfast there was no wait. The servers are a bit strange and slow maybe but for $4 who cares. The parking is free and easy to find.
