Yeah, no one likes having pokey metal pieces in his mouth, but this guy knows what he's doing in adjusting teeth, even for a ridiculously extreme case like mine. When I look at “before” pictures…wow.
Now we are in the post-oral surgery stage of teeth readjustment, and it’s going well.
His office staff and assistants are very friendly.
The wait times at appointments can tend to run long...but when he gets to you, he gives you undivided attention and discusses things thoroughly.

I've been in orthodontic treatment for years. They had decided I needed surgery to correct my class 3 underbite. So I'd been in consultation with Dr. Billingsley for several years (he also took out my wisdom teeth 3 years ago, and there was NO swelling, and I was up and running the next day).
He performed a sagittal split osteotomy and a maxillary advancement and widening. Yeah, any major surgery really leaves you pretty dead, but I was back at work in 6 days and most of the swelling was down within 2-3 weeks. Virtually zero pain, and the results look good. His "artistic" judgement is good, despite my intial doubts (any major change to your face leaves you rather shocked).
And he's friendly and answers all your questions :)

Their shakes/malts are awesome too. And they don't cheat you on what's left in the metal cup, they give you that too.
And the prices are the same as other restaurants that serve smaller amounts of food.
If you aren't really hungry, split a burger with a friend and it will still satisfy for quite some time.

This is a review specifically for the office staff at AMOS. I underwent a major surgery there, and they were only somewhat helpful in guiding us in preparing for it. Since they do these procedures ALL the time, they should tell people common issues with getting stuff arranged, especially finances (loans through programs they recommend). Their favorite thing to say is "it's easy, you can apply quickly the week before." Then when you ask them why they didn't tell you that the financing company actually requires this or that thing they say "well, finances are the client's responsibility, you should have applied further in advance to allow time for problems." Gee, thanks. Now we are ALL inconvenienced in having to reschedule so we can get the necessary paperwork done, because you didn't tell us how this really works.
Moral: ASK QUESTIONS! Don't assume anything...
Epilogue: The surgery finally got done and went well. They definitely know what they're doing, even if they don't fill you in on it.

I took in my '95 Passat to get a simple oil change at the dealership. I bought the car used and had only used smaller independent mechanics before. They have a neat drive-in garage bay area where you check your car in. I decided to wait there for the car since over the phone they had said ~1 hour and when I got there they said ~ 1.5 hours.
It took them nearly 3 hours...to do an oil change. Even once the car got IN the garage it still took nearly 2 hours. And in the end, they didn't even vacuum out the floor of the inside, which I thought was standard practice.
On the bright side, they have an extremely comfy waiting area with a free drink bar. And the people are friendly. And the oil change was only a couple bucks more than the discount places, which can't service VWs because of the internal oil filter.
