Carraba's is a great contradiction. It's a terrific place to take your family (they have crayons for the kids, and even let them shape their own bread dough and bake their bread for them). At the same time, it's a terrific place for a date. Before I got married, I took many dates here, and it was a great experience- not too loud, romantic, pleasant atmosphere. At the same time, now I take my family there, and its still great. Somehow, the families never bother the singles, and vice versa. In fact, if you're looking to settle down as a result of your dates, letting your date see a 'quiet family having a nice dinner together' across the restaurant is a great example for them to see ;).
