When we walked into the IHOP, despite it being nearly empty, the servers tried to dump us into sections (no server wanted to take us). That really didn't makes us feel wanted as customers. Then when they finally did decide who was going to take us, every time she visited us the server acted like we were a burden.
The food was fine, not bad but certainly nothing to write home about (though our pancakes and our "hot" maple syrup were lukewarm at best).

I recently recieved a 30+ year old French road bike which had not been ridden in at least 4 years. The mechanics at Velo City were able to identify elements in need of repair/replacement and do the work to get my bike into rideable condition. Given the age and manufacture of the bike, this meant that they had to find non-standard tools to fit my old metric-measured parts. They did it, the bike is now in great shape, and the cost was below their estimate!

We have eaten in the restaurant and also carried out several times. The food is invariably good and the portions are fair. We were pleasantly surprised with the chicken wings (which neither of us normally likes) and the delicious house crispy steak ("You must try this."). This is probably one of the best American-style Chinese restaurants I have been to.

My wife and I went to Village Inn on a recent Saturday for lunch. We got there about 11:45 and the place was empty (there might have been one other customer in the whole restaurant). It took 5 minutes before someone greeted and seated us, and the service went downhill from there. We both got sandwiches, and the food was great, but the service was so bad that we will never go back.
