He took his time to inspect every nook and cranny, and give me a thorough explanation of his findings immediately after the inspection, following up with a clear, understandable printed report a few days later. I have been in my house for two years now, and have not discovered any "surprises" that he missed. He is very ethical, friendly, and willing to take the time to make sure you understand everything he is doing, and everything you need to know in order to make the best decision on your home purchase.

He came to me recommended by other satisfied customers and did a great job of landscaping my back yard with new sod, working with me to design the project as economically as possible. He oversees the jobs himself and has a great crew of dedicated workers who do the job quickly and expertly.

This salon opened its doors only a couple of years ago but business is booming. The women who own it met at a previous shop and decided to go out on their own, and the result is a fun, vibrant place that is always buzzing with activity where neighbors run into each other and customers are greeted like old friends. Peggy (one of the owners) and Angie are two of the best, and the prices are really reasonable so you can get a new 'do without breaking the bank.

Glen Ivy is an incredible day spa that offers a unique experience unlike any other in southern California. The property offers several pools (one for floating and relaxing, another for swimming and water aerobics), hot tubs, saunas and an awesome pool filled with red clay called Club Mudd. They also have all the spa services you expect, like manicures, pedicures, massages and various skin treatements. A new addition to the service menu is the Grotto, an underground facility where guests are covered with sea kelp and invited to relax as long as they want. (This is an extra $20 and requires no reservation which makes it great for those who want a little extra service without breaking the bank). They also have a cafe onsite, along with picnic grounds outside the front gate where many visitors sit under the trees and enjoy homemade fare while they take a break from the relentless relaxation inside. One suggestion -- if you want a massage or other service, schedule early as these appointments book up fast!

This is a neighborhood gem that has been around for more than 20 years serving up great Mexican food to eat in or take out. It's a pretty tiny place, but you can usually find a table. Sonia, the Armenian (yes, Armenian!) matriarch who runs the place is responsible for the restaurant's best kept secret -- every Thursday night, she cooks a different international menu. Armenian and Indian are just two of the cuisines I have enjoyed there. For less than $10 you get an entree, several side dishes, and dessert/ It's an incredible bargain. Some advice -- call ahead to reserve a dinner on those Thursdays because Sonia makes a limited number of dinners and they always sell out!
