In a nutshell....I ate at Dirty Dicks for the second time on 8/5/2005 and it was worse than my first experience.
1. The server didn't even acknowledge us until we'd be sat for 10 minutes...than it took her another 10 minutes to come back for our drink order.
2. Our entree's were delivered less than 5 minutes after our apps and salad. Very poor timing.
3. The entrees were brought out for my husband and our children, but not myself...the server checked on us 3 times and 15 minutes elapsed before we were finally able to flag her down and enquire the location of my entree. She blamed it on the kitchen.
4. We were charged for a substitution on my husbands plate that never took place (we wanted veg of the day for coleslaw, but got coleslaw and were charge for a sub).
5. I was never able to get our server to get an additional beer after my first and had to eat my very late entree with no beverage.
6. The crab was terrible. It was either poor quality, very poorly cooked or a combination of both. Almost impossible to get the meat out of the shell.
7. Portions are very small. The sides on the crab legs consist of 2 small boiled redskin potatos and 1/2 of a corn on the cob. There isn't a lot of crab legs on there either.
8. The restaurant was incredibly hot, their were flies buzzing around everywhere and the restaurant and restrooms were dirty.
I think that was everything. All in all, I don't think it deserves even 1 star and will not be returning.
