Anchor Bar is the place where buffalo wings was originated from. The wings are mighty tasty. I believe it comes in hot and suicide for those who are daring. The sweet bbq is great for those who don't have a spicy tongue. It comes in portions of 10, 25, 30, and 50. We ordered 50 and between 3 people we devoured it all!! Besides wings the place offers other appetizers and food, but best known for its wings. Usually there is a long line especially over the weekend from out of towners and Buffalonians. Over the weekend there is live entertainment usually a band playing jazz music and a singer. It's really a nice place and must go if in the Buffalo area!

Just across the Brooklyn Bridge lies a small historic ice cream store. Although it may not have a wide selection of different flavors as other ice cream stores have, by far this place has one of the best basic flavors. I had vanilla and it was soft and smooth. Just perfect. At times you may find a line but this store overlooks the city skyline which makes it worthwhile when waiting for a taste of the ice cream.
There's benches outside the store which is perfect for summer nights and dates while looking across the bridge and city skyline.

Serendipity is best known for its HUGE mouth topping desserts. I've been there 3 times myself with guests from out of town. They love the place and dessert. I would definetly recommend their signature Frozen Hot Chocolate and Banana Float Sundae. The price may seem kind of hefty but considering the portion you get its well worth it. As for the food it's not the best I've had but decent. I would just go straight for the dessert!
The downside as others have mentioned is the long wait and crowds. Be prepared to wait at least 1 to 2 hours. Even with reservation there usually is a wait.

Tucked away in the corners of New York City this restaurant is full of good food. As the name implies the restaurant serves cuban cuisine. The food was amazingly perfect and scrumptious. Probably best known for its grilled corn topped with cheese and such. It left me wanting for more. The enchiladas and beans were a great combination. Speaking for a person who does not eat beans, I ate up the beans and cleaned up my plate leaving my friend speechless. I'm not sure what it was but the sauce was delicious.
The only downside to this restaurant were the crowds and limitation of space but definitely worth to try.
Must order the grill corn!!!
