I never knew there existed so many different color scrubs like raspberry, orchid, ocean, mist, and etc. Plus the store also has patterned scrubs and different style cuts such as flare, straight let, cargo, and boot cut. So add some uniqueness to your wardrobe.

While helping my sister plan her wedding and flipping through bridal magazines for bridal dresses I noticed that many dresses were at a store located near our home. So we just decided to go and check it out. Well to start off the area where it is located does not look to appealing and when you walk in it really looks as if you've stepped into the wrong place for bridal gowns, BUT when you walk downstairs to the where the dresses are there are a lot of great finds.
The problem is that it is hard to find and look at the dresses yourself, so one of the staff brings out gowns for you to look at based on what you want. It may seem hard but the staff makes it that much easier for you and it helps that they are helpful and friendly. Prices range from 600-1500. Need to make an appointment.
It also sells bridal party dresses.

Lots of interesting collectible finds in this store. It carries both new and old comics as well as figurines. A definite store for the young and old who is fanatic about comics. You can even trade/sell your copies if you want to. My little cousin loves going in to the store and picking up copies of Batman and Superman. Nice store to go in and browse through comics and dolls.

You will have to push your way through the racks especially during the afternoon hours. I would probably not recommend coming to the store for a wedding gown, but if you are looking to buy dresses for your bridal party you may find something within your tight budget.

I've been using CARA Medical for 2 years for medical equipment and simple supplies such as gloves, alcohol swabs, karlexes, tongue depressors, masks, and needle plungers. Price on the supplies are inexpensive. Good place for students in health care professions and also for those who have private practice. They also sell euipments such as stethoscope, cuffs, and monitor. Staffs are helpful and attentive.

What can you say about Zabar's. Nothing except that it is magnificent. Zabar's is a gourmet market that also specializes in catering. They have the best cheese, bread, and nuts! I've never seen this wide of a selection of cheese from all over the place from Vermont, Spain, to Germany. This place is heaven for cheese lovers like me. Also this is the place to shop for groceries if you are planning to host a party and cook up some appetizers. Plus prices are not outrageous fairly reasonable for the quality. Go for the cheese!!!

Wow I've been coming to J&R since I was a little girl with my dad. He would take me on these special trips with my sister to buy music cassettes and cds. I would be amazed of how big their music section was. I easily found my favorite broadway musicals and my oldies but goodies selection (50s-60s music). They have one big store devoted on music. The price can be expensive, but if you are looking for an old favorite J&R is your place.
In addition to music, they also sell a range of electronics such as computers, television, phones, and other gadgets.

Talking Leaves sells popular book titles as well as the less well known authors. What I liked about Talking Leaves is that it creates a place where people actually enjoy reading literary works and creative writing. The prices may be a tad expensive because they don't offer that much specials and sales like chains do, but that's how the local bookstores make money from. Also they bound notes and such.

It's one of the best bargain bookstores in the city for college students looking to save a buck or two. Stock and selection of used textbooks can be limited. This is due to the amount of students selling back their books. Either way Greeks & Sneaks offers the best price. You can call in and ask whether they have the book you are looking for and they can hold it for you. Located just 5 minutes away from UB's South Campus this bookstore is a good find.

Another great hair and beauty salon place. Personally this is one of my favorite hair salon because the combination of hair styles and service really marked an impression on me. The staff was friendly and my hair stylist (I don't remember his name) spent forever on my hair of course in a good way. I have plenty of hair so it took him about 1 1/2 hour I think to perfect my hair because he had to layer it. During the whole time he never complained or acted rude and most importantly he didn't do a lousy job or try to finish my hair fast so he can work on others. My sister and I came to this place together and her stylist also took his time as well. Overall great service. Price for me was 26 dollars because I had long hair.
They also have other services like straightening, waxing, and perming. Great place for hair cut if around the area.
