Our Name Is Mud is a great place for both the young and old who loves to paint and create mugs, plates, and bowls. They offer a "plan" where you come in pick out an item you want to paint and then they charge you by every 1/2 hour of $5 dollars. You also have to pay for the item you want to paint on. They offer cups, face mugs, bowls, platter, vases, and etc. So just choose one and start painting! They also have stencils for the less artistic individuals. Before you start a staff will come and explain to you the process. If you decide not to paint they do sell finished products.
Once you have finished your creation you have to wait for about one week to pick it up because they have to put it in the oven to glaze. It was a great time for children and adults. We came here for a "bachelorette" get together and it was fun. They also serve free wine on Thursdays and Fridays hence no children allowed at night!

Circus Fruits is another great wholesale store to find cheap and fresh fruits. On a busy day tons of customers are find circling around the store trying to grab fruits. You can find here your basic fruits such as oranges, apples, bananas, and pears to your lesser common seasonal fruits such as lychees, longans, cheeries, and strawberries. Fruits are priced wholesale so you can find great deals. However beware of the messiness around the streets.

My car hadn't been washed for about a month and it was piling up with dirt since the streets were being repaired so I decided to go some place near and ended up at Best Car Wash. The price for interior and exterior wash was $12 dollars which wasn't too bad. What I liked about it was that I didn't have to drive my car into the car wash machine. You drop your car with the service men and they take your car from there. They hand wash the car for a bit before taking it in and you can watch as the car is being washed.
The end result was the car was nice and shiny and the interior was nicely cleaned. Tip is optional and you just place it in a box. So if you don't like handing your car over to another person during the car wash this may not be for you.

If you are looking for a place with unique papers and stationary Kate's Paperie is for you. They have a huge selection of papers such as Vellum, Stardream, Scalloped, Linen, and etc. They also have matching envelopes as well. Kate's is a great place if you are looking to design your own wedding invitation or just any invitation for all occasions. Besides stationary they also supply items for scrapbook ideas such as stamps, ribbons, and flowers. This place is usually packed during the holidays with people coming in to wrap their presents. Staff is very helpful and warm.
The only down side to Kate's is their pricing. The price is moderately expensive, but the quality is exceptional and the papers do add a touch of glamour.

If you're looking for cheap children clothing in the local Bensonhurst area. Kings may be for you. It sells clothing for children in variety of ages such as infancy, toddler, preschoolers, and children. They sell coats, dresses, shirts, t-shirts, suits, slacks, and school uniforms. Most items are not overpriced and if you are a parent looking to save a few bucks, this place is for you. I've bought ties and socks for 1 dollar. T shirts were less than 10 dollar.
The only down side to this store is if you are a parent with a stroller you have to leave it outside of the store where they lock it (sort of like a bicycle lock).

I remember coming to Lotus Inn when it was originally named Uncle's Wong and although the name has changed the owner and chef are still the same. The food is nothing unique and special, but economical and reliable. It's different from other traditional Chinese Restaurant because inside the ambiance is very relax with set up like booths. You can actually have conversations in here.
The staff are really nice. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for 8 years and they remember and welcome us into their restaurant. Nice staff and decent food.

Been coming to Yakiniku West for get together with my girl friends. It's a nice place for Korean BBQ which simply is a grill on each table where you order platters of meat, veges, and shrimp and then grill at your own pace and liking. It's a nice way to chat while you are waiting for your food to be cooked. The platters are pretty big. They also serve food if you don't want to grill. The choice is up to you, but I would recommend BBQ. How often can you BBQ indoors!
The only downside is that the restaurant opens at 5pm.

Sharaku makes one of the freshest and cleanest sushi and that's important when choosing a Japanese restaurant. The price may be slightly more expensive, but you are paying for freshness. My favorites are eel, shrimp, and soft shell crab sushi. For those looking for food food. This place serves that as well such as noodle soups like Udon. Rice entrees such as steak, beef, and chicken teriyaki to name a few. They also serve Donburi a big bowl of sticky rice with you name it beef, egg, chicken, etc. The seaweed salad is recommended as well.
Portions are decent and staff are nice.

One of the reasons most people come to Dojo is because of their dressing on their salads. I believe its ginger dressing, but other Japanese restaurants doesn't measure up to theirs. I'm not sure what it is, but it's nice and tangy the right combination. They also offer soy burgers, grilled sandwiches, and entrées such as steak, teriyaki, and salmon. I would recommend their sandwiches. The price is not steep and cheap. Good for local students around the area.
