So, not being the biggest club goer, I was actually lloking forward to Thursday nights at this one because they have two rooms, each with different types of eighties music being played. It was packed!! One room plays mainly modern rock ala Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, and more. The larger room, which was packed with a younger crowd played everything from Bon Jovi to Salt N'Pepa. It got crowded quick. Some of the boys were slightly rude for the simple fact they were YOUNG. The best part is that every week the Hell's Angels sit in the back on their own stage where no one but themselves are allowed to go near. the music is great and the people always have a good time.

I don't have my own backyard, but we do have a huge window for growing our own herbs. So when I went here to get started, the nice man helped me buy the best pottery and herbs for beginners. My basil and oregano, parsely are growing like champions. Everytime I go in, he tells me to buy certain flowers if I feel like getting some new ones, or a new pot for my (struggling in the winter) parsley. They really will help you if you want specific designs for your garden, and have a lot of good input on seasonal flowers, greenery, etc. They are experts in everyway!

We were watching a friend's little golden retriever for two days while they were out on business. He got sick before they even left, so when we got him, we were reluctant to take him in. But because he's so loving we had to! Anyways, he got very sick and threw up in the same corner of the den (how nice of him!), and left some discernible greenish brownish marks that wouldn't come out. We called these guys, and didn't think they could do it, but after an hour of cleaning, it looks pretty much as good as new. They even did the entire house in about an hour and a half. I recommend this place. Friendly service too!

This boutique in North Beach displays a lot of over priced jeans ($145?), yet has a few select key cute pieces. For example, I fell in love with a pink shirt with a jeweled gun on it (only $50!). The woman there wasn't very friendly, though she may have just been bored. SOme of the jackets are very cute, and differently different from what I usually see in boutiques. There may only be one in stock, so if it's not your size, you may have to special order it. I recommend going down a block to Ruby Girl!

The moment you walk into the Nature Stop, there is a vegetarian deli to your right, and to the left is a huge selection of organic shampoos, lotions, facial products, soaps, and more. I love the Alba products and the Earth Science selection is great as well. They have a huge assortment of natural remedies, vitamins, and other homeopathic items to choose from. The man at the counter canhelp you with whatever you have questions with as well. There are many selections to choose from. There are organic foods in every way, including fresh produce and saffron.

Lola is actually a stationary store, but has some of the cutest baby stuff I have ever seen. I even asked the man who worked there if they had one of the baby tops for adults. It was brown and said "Are we there yet?". They have the most adorable greeting cards, stationary supplies, and scrapbooks. The photo albums are very unique and great for gift giving. There are the cutest baby tees with chinese letters on them as well. I fell in love with this store!

It could just be me, but I think spending almost $10 on a deli salad is a rip-off. This place, although the salad items are usually fresh, there's nothing spectacular about them. They do have soups, sandwiches, and other things you can choose from. The coffee in the morning is good though! There are pastries, and soometimes the line can get long around eight to eight thirty.

This place is great on so many levels. Where else can you get a Vietnamese ham sandwich for only $2? They have tons of other speciality asian items. They sell an entire loaf of french bread for only $1. There are also soups, noodles, and lots more asian delights. The best part? On the wall if you look carefully behind the register...the picture of Gavin Newsome eating at the restaurant saying "I like chicken sandwich."

I'm a big fan of Mexican, and this place highly disappointed me. The burrito was so dry, it felt like I was eating cardboard. The chicken burrito was dry, bland, and was almost cold. Even worse, they charge you extra for salsa. So you have to pay extra for something that already tastes really bland to begin with. The service is kinda weird...they really want you get the heck out of there so they can help the next person. If you're not picky about food, eat here. If you know better mexican food, go any place else!

I'm not a big fan of Vietnamese food, but this place made me bite my tongue. The service was quick, like most Asian places, and the staff was very friendly. The waiter recommended the fried calamari and it was great. I loved the vegetarian chow fun, some of the best I've ever eaten. The imperial spring rolls were awesome as well. If you like the spring rolls on top of the noodles, they are actuallu very good and hearty here. They serve beers as well. Go to this place now!!
