This is a wonderful place to spend some time with your children. There are a lot of learning activities as well as just plain fun stuff. I don't know of a toddler who doesn't like the train or the pirate ship. There is a music room with a piano and other instruments to try out. There is an art room with lots of messy fun supplies to work on your creativity. The kiosks that have the puzzles in the main area are fantastic for older children. Overall it's a really neat place to enjoy a few hours. The only downside I can think of is that the pirate ship plank gets chaotic, especially when there are older & younger children there. I always worry about the toddlers getting run over because all the children want to climb up onto the ship and there's only one way up.

The Kangaroo Kingdom is essentially a toddler's gym. Everything is padded and they can run around exploring all the different equipment. I think that the open gym is fun, the classes held by a third party are good (for instance the baby sign language class), but the "kangaroo classes" (for instance Junior Bouncers) are a waste of money. My experience was that you pay $140/10 week session for the kids to essentially have an open gym. It's $8 to go to an open gym (unless you prepay then it's a little less), but I think $8/child/hour is pretty expensive. Toddler open gyms (6 - 36 month olds) are 45 minutes to an hour. Children's open gyms (6 months - 5 years) are 2 hours. Also, the gym area is quite small. Overall, I think it's fun to go to occasionally, but it's not worth a weekly, or even bi-weekly visit.

I had my brakes done at Steve's recently. They also did an oil change and tire rotation. I thought that the staff was friendly and the work was completed quickly. Their prices were okay, but I could have probably got it done a little less expensive if I'd gone to a national chain. I chose to spend a little more money at Steve's because of their customer service. I've always had terrible customer service with national chains. I'd feel very comfortable recommending Steve's to a friend and I'd use Steve's again myself.

This is a consignment store for children's items. There are a lot of clothes and toys, but it seems like they have a little bit of everything. Most items are priced at about 1/2 of what it would cost new. Toys, books, baby carriers, etc are all a pretty good deal. I think the clothes are a little pricey. If you really want name brand items cheap, it's a good deal. If you don't care about that, you're better off getting them at Walmart or Target on clearance. Parking kind of stinks because if you have the kids and a stroller, you either have to park on Main Street, or struggle with the stairs if you park in the back. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly.

I really like this practice. We actually use Dr. Liebentritt, who works here as well, but we've seen Dr. Cavanaugh on occasion. Both doctors are great. They are wonderful with my two small children (both under 2) as well as myself and my husband. If I take the children in because they are sick or hurt, the doctor always calls a few days later to make sure he's doing better. I think they are fantastic.

I recently refinanced my mortgage with Boulder West. They did a good job of getting a good interest rate and having low closing costs. I didn't think their customer service was great. The broker did a good job of returning calls prior to closing, but now that it's closed, they aren't so quick to respond to the questions I have. Also, the broker didn't stay for the actual closing, which I don't like. If she had stayed, she could have answered the questions I have then and I wouldn't have to call her now. Because of the poor customer service, I don't think I would use them again.

I had my youngest son at LUH in March of 2005. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms are great, the staff is very friendly and helpful and they make sure you are prepared when you leave. The maternity ward is secure so you don't have to worry about your new little one either. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here. The only complaint I have with the hospital in general is the billing department. I received several bills due to being admitted for non-stress testing before the actual delivery. I paid them all right away, but for a while I still got the same bill once each week until I called and cleared it up. However, with a new baby, the hospital bill was low on my priority list. When it turned out I had overpaid, though, they weren't nearly as quick to get the check in the mail.

My 17 month old son had surgery here. While I don't believe surgery is ever a great experience, the staff here made it as good as possible. They were caring and considerate of how afraid my son was. They made sure I was able to be there until the medication kicked in and he was no longer afraid as well as when he woke up again so that he wouldn't be surrounded by strangers. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Dr. Pete is a really great dentist. He is always very friendly. He is also always very conscious of my comfort, making sure everything is okay all the time. It really sets your mind at ease if you're not fond of going to the dentist, which I am not. The office is very nice and they seem to have very good equipment. Also, the hygienists are very friendly and do a fine job. Overall, they are one of the best dental offices I've ever visited.
