I have gone to this place for three foot surgeries (minor operations), and they have always been extremely friendly and empathetic to everyone of their patients situations. The doctor is very nice and does all he can to alleviate pain both during and after any procedure. The place has a lot of return patients, but getting an appointment when at the time and date you need it is not that difficult. Great doctor and great staff.

Whispering willows is one of the best kept golf courses in the area especially for the price. A round of 18 costs about $25-35 depending on the day and time. They do offer twighlight specials. The course is a little short, but that is typical in such a suburban area. It does get crowded on weekends and some weeknights, so it's best to get a tee-time a day or two before you plan on playing.

Oasis features one of the largest driving ranges around and is the only one I know of that is exclusively a driving range. During the winter, Oasis features a dome to create an indoor driving range. The buckets are about the same as anywhere, from $6-12, but there are almost always coupons in local publications. The batting cages are also nice and feature a variety of speeds. The putt-putt course is a little out of date, but still fun.

Although the Farmington Civic doesn't get the newest movies, it does get the movies a month or two after they are released in theators, The theater itself was recently bought by the city of Farmington which allowed it to remodel and remain open to Farmington and surronding areas. The tickets are around $2.50 and the concessions are actually fairly prices unlike most national chain movie theaters. The Civic is located in downtown Farmington off of Grandriver.

The Detroit Institute of Art boasts a nice display of several different types of art and also brings in several popular displays. The building itself is one of a kind and is a true asset to the Detroit community. The gallery also features several discounts for groups including school as well as after-school groups. Admission can be pricey for certain events, but it is often well worth the premium price to see the fabulous art.

Colonial recently added an oil-change and repair shop to its car-wash, and it provides the same great service as the car wash, but it does carry a relatively high price tag. Also, Colonial lacks the capability of working on larger vehicles including some makes of Ford F-250's because of the weight. They do have several coupons and deals for oil changes which makes them more affordable, but regular prices are high.

This is one of the best outdoor paintball fields around. They offer a variety of games from center-flag and capture the flag, to speedball and defend/attack the base. They have a variety of interesting fields so that you're not playing the same field or game too many times. Admission is generally around 10-15, and they are usually field-paint only which can add up quickly.

Framery one is the only place in this area to get quality frame work done. They have been serving the Farmington community for several years and have always contributed to Farmington schools and other community groups. The store is filled with literally thousands of framing options, but don't worry, the staff will help you select the perfect frame for any piece. They definately do a professional job on each frame.

This place resembles its name, rustic. It's a small bar off of Grandriver that few even notice when they drive past it, but that is what makes it so great. There are several regulars which makes this bar different from the crowded ones around the area. It has a pool table and darts for something to do. This is probably one of the best places to have a few beers and relax while playing a few games of pool or darts without being hassled or in a crowd.

Cowleys was recently remodeled with an addition of a second story and a larger menu. The food is good, but the prices are a noticably inflated. The place has an authentic Irish pub feeling to it and features live music, but it isn't the most affordable place to have a few beers at. Cowleys will hopefully lower their prices to compete with local bars, but until then, I'd suggest going down the street to the Library Pub where the beer is $2-3 a glass.
