I can say that it has been great to get to know some other great ones. On Judy's Book alone, I see in related reviews, Lori Marshall, Tracy Johnnsen (why is her name in the right order) and Briget Brock.
Connie trained with all of them and they are great. Reviews to follow

I have a warm spot for this Red Robin. It was the very first in the chain and has a spectacular view of Portage Bay. The parking is beyond hard, but give it a try. Most of the the other Red Robins are just GOOD, but the location makes it GREAT to me.
The food is only OK, but the view is terrific. The best things to try are their Mac N Cheese (I know that's a kids item). Connie usually eats their caesar salad which is just OK.
That plus the bottomless french fries. When I go there, I like to get their french onion soup and french fries. Don't ask me why.

This is a great place to go after a ride on the Lake Sammamish trail. The food is only OK and the service is beyond slow, but the location is so wonderful. BTW, the bar actually isn't name the Red Hook Brewery, it has some other name, so sorry for listing it here.
The patio is huge outside, but it gets super crowded so get there early or late.
Best thing on the menus are the burgers. We've tried the salads and so forth and they are "Red Robin" OK. The brews are of course great. Get the sampler!

Everytime, I go to this place, I savor it. I just know that it will one day soon be demolished for a condo complex, but in the mean time get to one of the ten best root beer joints left in the country. They are famous for their root beers and with great justification. The kids and I can each slurp one and beg for more.
The memorabilia is wonderful and the family that owns it just great. The best spot is actually their bar area where you can watch them make things.
The hamburgers are of course great, but we just love their flat tires (flat chicken breast) and their onion rings are wonderful. The french fries are super fresh. The four on the floor (four chicken strips) are wonderful. We did find their fish sticks to be a little greasy. Their chicken burger is wonderful.
It is a wonderful place to try post skiing at the Summit or after a bike ride. Big picnic area outside too!

In any case, they have good lunch specials, but the best thing are their monster rolls. Today for dinner, we had their dynomite, their himalaya and their rainbow roll and it fed six people. Also their udon noodles are wonderful.
It definitely gets crowded there, but it is so convenient if you work in Eastlake. And good too. Give it a try.
If you are there, you are just ten minutes from Judy's Book, Mpire and Pure Networks, so its VC alley :-)

Personally, I agree that the place is slow to serve (although I've never had rude folks). I will say that my very favorite coffee shop (now sadly demolished to make way for a bigger Cafe Lagos) was the Daily Grind. Jackson who ran it was positively a character and could be very rude, but I just loved that.
A place with personality. The bagels are good and so are the soup and sandwiches. Also the coffee is OK, but mainly it is the atmosphere. Long live the Daily Grind and the long dead Surrogate Hostess, this place keeps up the tradition of interesting places run by interesting people.

The main thing is that they have hard to find and unusual stuff, so when you go there, don't expect the Safeway experience. Here are some things we love to get there:
1. Their special Italian sodas and things. Not sweet and hard to find elsewhere. The grapefruit (really!) and lemon are wonderful.
2. Their various snacks. They have flavored popcorn for instance that is terrific. I actually find their truffles to be too sweet.
3. Their wines. OK, there are more wonderful wine places, but they usual have a good quick selection.
As folks mentioned, their parking is very tight, so go there for the quick surgical strike :-)

OK, he may be too expensive for you, but we've tried to do taxes ourselves, we've used a low cost fellow and we've tried Deloitte & Touche. The net is that personal attention matters and for me at least, having someone like Dan who reads and writes email is great.
He's very thorough as long as you fill out the data he needs. Delivers things on time and lays it out nicely. So give him a try :-)

These are huge and tasty. The kids actually like the "mini-cupcakes" better than the massive ones.
There is also a nice coffee shop there too.
