We've been working with Dale for the last 15 years now. He has wired three homes for us. He's great and very thorough, most importantly, he'll tell you exactly what he is doing.
He'll also do structured wiring, fire alarm and ethernet, so a good all purpose guy and he's very responsive.
Our main issue with these systems is that they definitely false alot and that means police come. Better safe than sorry.
While you are doing this, you should probalby think about an integrated fire alarm too.
The main issue is that he's a one man shop so can get very busy, but he always answers his own phone which we love.
(As another aside, your search is working, way, way better!)

Well, this may seem counterintuitive but three pieces of advice:
1. but if you are really having fit problems and so forth, then the REI is a good place to go. They carry just about everything and really care. They have a compete set of orthodics and things as well.
2. There is a great guy at the Pro Club who fits folks with really hard problems with feet. I can get the guys name.
3. If you have general good feet and like the brand you use, then shoebuy.com is a great place. This is online. the great secret of running shoes is that although the models change every 10 minutes, the basic sizing and so called Last (the shape of the shoe doesn't). So if you find a shoe type that you like you can stick with it. For me, the Asics has been that brand. You can look in running magazine (or their site) for some samples.
Good luck!

As an aside, if you are doing the complete umbrella thing, you might want to price from Ezra Teshome, he does State Farm, but more importantly is a great guy in the community and very honest. We did everything from him before having to move upstream and bigger umbrellas.
He has a family owned business and his wife for a long time (and I believe still does) runs a great restaurant up on Madrona.

Well, experience at Ponti's has been mixed on Judy's Book, but we've been going there for probably 10 years. It is a good place to get to as long as you stay with the seafood, the brunches and the various pastas.
Actually, the Asian inspired stuff is what we really like there. They had a curry-crab-prawn thing that was really great. They also have a nice spicy soup.
They do get very crowded, but the brunches are really great on a summer day. And you can stroll down. The only real bummer is that I wish there was a place to tie up your boat, then it would be perfect!

Traci is just great. It is family owned, her family lived in that part of the world for a long time and it is a great interpretation.

Well, there are many choices for cheap eats, but personally (unlike Andy!) I like the nutrious meal too, so World Wrapps is a great choice. They are a chain, so are downtown, on first hill, on the avenue and in the REI.
I love the thai chicken wrapp and also the indian curry, so not just the generic mexican. Give it try!

Actually, I have to admit that I remembered a much better Ettas than what I had. It is not that Etta's has gotten worse, it is that in the last 15 years (gosh, I'm getting old, I can actually remember Etta's opening all those many years ago), that the quality of restaurants in Seattle has just increased so much.
They have pretty much the now "standard" light northwest seafood. There is wild salmon (I didn't inquire what river), halibut and the crab cakes are the standards. They are great if you've never had them, but this is the third time I've been to a Tom Douglas http://tomdouglas.com restaurant in as many weeks, so it gets a little old to have the same cakes.
The service is great too and very friendly, but if you are looking for some adventure, I do think the menus at Dalias is more interesting and there is alse Shea Chea's which I still recommend as an awesome spot. Also up the street is Campagnes, although I like the lighter fare of Cafe Campagnes.
Finally, the after evening thing if you aren't there with Chris and Andy, the Judy's Book founders, or with Brad (http://feld.com) is to take in the view and then have a desert at Cafe Dilletente up the way a bit.

It is kind of a kick to get picked up by someone who is as big as a house and whose car has a siren. Very handy for getting through traffic.
They do all kinds of security details, but they also will just take you around town, if you absolutely positively have to get there :_)

Well, Yuen Lui is the old standby and the big one around here. We actually know the Lui's and it is a nice familiy owned business. For the more personal touch, we've used a couple of folks, but the main way we've found them is actually through school auctions.
A smart strategy is to do some giveaways with a parents. Most folks don't have a friends to friends recommendations. I've not really understood why since photos are so personal.
Your portfolio looks great btw!

In any case, they don't have the huge humeersines, but basic Lincoln Town Cars. Very reliable though and terrific folks. http://eastsideexpress.com/ is where to find them. Thanks again to Google for finding them for us.
