in San Antonio offers lots of shady spots. The zoo offers natural habitats for most of the animals so it doesn't seem as caged in as others. There is a great new indoor play area for children 5 and under in the Tiny tot nature spot that also includes outdoor play space for little ones. Larger children will enjoy a play area with slides where they are able to feed sheep and llamas.
