I used to shop at Town & Country in Colonia/Woodbridge, NJ. But I won't be headed back anytime soon (unless I'm desperate).
Out of the last 4 trips there, because they were the only place open at the time, I couldn't find what I was looking for. Their shelves were empty, the salespeople huddled in a corner gossiping about who wore what where. Disgusted and unimpressed I left without a purchase.
I was informed as I was walking out the door that the inventory was low and stock was expected the following day. The following day I paid another visit in hopes of finding what I was looking for - again, no stock - even more depleted than before.
Prices were expensive for the items that WERE in the store. Don't visit - no worth the trip!

No matter what you're looking for in terms of alcohol - beer, liquer, cordials, etc. - you WILL find it at Wine Country Liquor Store in Woodbridge, NJ.
When I couldn't find my favorite wine cooler and other liquor at another store, I came to Wine Country. They had what I needed and at much better prices. I haven't gone anywhere else since.
I previously thought it was a small store that didn't carry much more than the usual beer and simple alcohols, but as soon as I walked in the door, I was surely mistaken. Wine Country offers a great variety of wines, beer (domestic and foreign), liquers, wine coolers, you name it. The staff is very friendly and answers questions about when the next stock is due or special orders. Their selection is really wide.
Prices are a little less expensive than other area liquor stores, one of the main reasons why I keep going back.

Since a child, I've visited Sipos Bakery in Perth Amboy every Sunday morning. Just walking into the bakery and smelling the aromas of fresh-baked breads, pastries, donuts, cookies - oh my! Well it's like being in a dream.
Their rye bread is so delicious and tasty. It's not bland and flaky. Their donuts are always moist and filled with so much flavor - even a "plain" donut is worth trying.
All of the pastries are made with lots of TLC - their size does not compare to what other local bakeries offer (much bigger for the same price).
Prices are reasonable - you pay for what you get. A large loaf of rye bread is $2.60 - but it's a LARGE loaf.
The employees are super friendly and the service they provide is great!

All of my life I have been deathly afraid of dentists - I actually have a phobia of them. It started with a bad, traumatic experience as a child and I stopped cold turkey going to dentists. No checkups, no xrays, nothing.
But then the inevitable happened - I encountered a problem with one of my molars. I didn't have a choice but to visit a dentist. I searched around for someone to help me with my phobia, but no one in my area was able to help sadly.
I was referred to Dr. Cannis in the fall of 2003 by my sister who had been using him for many years. Dr. Cannis explained what needed work, how he would go about performing the work from step 1 to final step. He was able to have me completely relaxed with a combination of "laughing gas" and medication. He was finally able to help me through my phobia. While the phobia is not now, nor ever will be, "gone" - Dr. Cannis provided me with the most professional dental services I've ever had. I left his office feeling better and more relaxed each time simply because of his nature and sensitivity to my fears. He would not work on me until I was completely comfortable with the procedure he was going to perform.
His assistants were outstanding as well - always offering comforting advice and a hand to squeeze when my anxiety jumped up.
I can't say that I love going to the dentist nowadays, but I will admit that I don't fight it anymore. I know and trust that I am in good hands with Dr. Cannis.
Appointments were usually accomodating, though the office being closed on weekends is hard.
As with any dentist, costs are moderately expensive, but for the work that Dr. Cannis does and the comfort he provides - I'll pay him any price. The office does offer payment plans.

Recently I purchased a new 2005 Jeep Liberty. I had searched through many dealer listings for the perfect vehicle. I finally found what I was looking for at McDonagh. After a few online transactions through Jeep.com, McDonagh came back with the best offer. Upon visiting the dealership and working with one of their top salesman (Mike), I couldn't believe how professional and non-aggressive this dealership. I'm so glad that we found them because the entire transaction was virtually painless. The hardest part was letting go of my previous vehicle.
Each and every employee I encountered was more than able to answer my questions, direct me where I needed to go, always with a smile on their faces and always with a handshake.
They worked the numbers for me and gave me an unbelievable deal. They offer anything that I needed - snack, drink, phone, etc.
I was overwhelmed in purchasing a new vehicle, but every step of the way I was informed exactly what was going on and how it was being handled.
Thumbs up to THE most professional car dealer I have ever dealt with.

While you can't do much about the cost of a movie ticket nowadays, you can enjoy the entire show at Regal Cinemas in North Brunswick, NJ.
Recently saw a movie at matinee time and was totally impressed with the courtesy and cleaniness of the entire theater. The restrooms were ultra-clean. The seats were comfortable and of course, stadium seating is the best. Employees were helpful in answering our questions about which theater we "belong in" and very polite when serving our drinks/snacks.
I've been to many movie theater and though Regal Cinemas in No. Brunswick is a bit longer of a drive than I like, I would definitely return just because of their professionalism.

I've been dining through Villa Borghese since I was a kid and can't ever recall a time when their food wasn't as perfect as can be. Their pizza is to die for - THE best I've ever tasted. Their italian dishes, whether it be ziti, lasange, ravioli or penne w/marinara sauce are simply delicious. Always fresh, hot and ready for your enjoyment! Prices are reasonable for the amount of quality and taste that Villa's employees put into every bite. The owners are wonderful to deal with - always a smile on their faces, even during their busiest times.
Don't pass up the opportunity to visit Villa Borghese if you're ever in the Fords area!!
