This Portillo's is located downtown Chicago, and has an alley wide drive through that they squeeze 2 rows of cars down. Its amazing. They serve true Chicago hotdogs loaded up with everything. Of course you can walk in and sit down too. Located across from the gargantuan McDonald's. Don't forget the chocolate shake!

I've gone here several times in a group of 6 or more. They have some very good Tapas, I like the curry chicken and potatas bravas. There is a lot to choose from, prices are reasonable, and they are about 2 blocks from Michigan avenue. I haven't seen it full very often, so I wouldn't think that you'd need reservations. Very nice place for a group dinner!

But, part of the price is for the great location. Its just off of Michigan and Chicago, right across from the Water Tower, its a beautiful sight at night.

This is a great downtown location to pick up that blender you need to make drinks tonight, or get a new comforter for the friends that are visiting, or whatever. Location is this store's best attribute, but it is also VERY clean, has a nice parking garage that is free and never full, and has a cart escalator-I love those things.

Of the 3 Target stores in the Chicago area (that I know of) this is the most busy, most crowded, most hectic of them all. But, you can certainly get a good deal on almost anything you need. They have a dollar spot up front where everything is a dollar...keep an eye on this spot because it does go to 75% off (or 25cents) every month or so.

This Target on Addison is relatively new. It is two stories tall. My first few visits there, I was suprised by how the place seemed so big, but had less than the Elston Target. Also, parking here can be difficult on the weekends since it shares the lot with a small strip of stores. You can check out on either floor, and there is a parking garage. And of course, it has almost everything, at great prices!

WONDERFUL food. Okay, I have to limit that because I ALWAYS get the same thing. It's the Kabob Combo. 1 skewer of steak, one of chicken, all sitting atop a MOUND of dill rice (you cannot eat all this rice!), with a side of skewered veggies (onion, tomato, green pepper), some radishes, a pita bread, and some excellent red soup. I get it to go a lot. The meat is SO tender. I think I'll get that for dinner tonight! (I believe its $12-15)

That being said, it has good food, reasonable prices, you can rely on it if you are unsure of where else to go... but you should try to go somewhere else...
