In addition to the typical Chinese menu, they have another menu that has a huge selection of vegetarian and health dishes to choose from. They do not use MSG in their food. The portions are fairly sized and seem to be less greasy than other Chinese restaurants in general. The restaurant is comfortable and relaxing too.

The food is decent and portions are average. Do not pay attention to the décor as it is just a few tables, chairs, and a couple of fish tanks. The waiters are somewhat brusk.

H.K. Tea & Sushi Restaurant is a good neighborhood restaurant that serves Japanese and Chinese food. I have dined here on numerous occasions and have tried both the Japanese and Chinese sides of the menu. They have wonderful and comforting baked rice casseroles (or spaghetti, if you like). Winners include the minced beef and chicken steak baked rice casseroles. The sushi is quite good and fresh. The restaurant is always packed with families, couples on dates, and teenagers.

The restaurant is constantly busy with customers waiting in line to buy the fresh, out of the oven egg custards or patrons eating in the sit down area of the restaurant. Egg custards are the specialty of the bakery and they are delicious! They have several types of egg custards that include egg yolk, egg white, strawberry, honeydew melon, and almond. The crusts are flaky and buttery and the custards are smooth and light as air.
