At Pier 39, you can have fun and shop at the same time. They have a lot of stores and especially gift shops. One of the fun things to do is ride the "Magic Carpet Ride". You and your family go in and get taped in a green room and then it is slapped on to an animation on your ride around San Francisco. The price is pretty high if you want a video or picture. There are also lots of places to eat.
