I love the "pick your own" bins to get granola and the like in just the right amount. A very knowledgable staff and a great variety. I especially love the cheese selecion and I visit here whenever I have a dinner party. It is always a treat to visit this store and I love the fact that you can try selection to make sure it is just what you want. Don't miss the bakery!

Picking applea off the tree after a tractor ride makes for a great trip no matter what age you are. The staff are plesant and knowledgable. The country store has a great selection of bot food and craft goods, make sure you venture up the stairs. They now even have food outside so you can make a trip out of a shrt visit. The apples this year are better than last and my Fall would not be complete without a trip Vaughns.

Even if you don't go in one of the many places to visit in Union Station it is still a fun place to go. There is always a free exhibt for both children and adults to enjoy and who doesn't love watching trains! This is the place to grab a rid eon the Amtrak or a chance to visit Science City with wonderful things for all. Add to that restuarants, a mall attahced, hotels and you have a little of something for anyone.

For a treat for your self I highly recommend a trip to Allure to give yourself a treat in both body and soul.

This is the best Mcdonalds around. Fast service and a wonderful play area. They have a party room too that you cna hire your childrens birthday. The bathrooms are clean which is important in a restaurant with so many children. Food is always hot but it should be in a fast food restuarant. I would watch the drive through though as sometimes they mix up the orders and they don't ask about extras like dips and stuff so just make sure!

I must admit that I love Outback food. But the prices always put me off. The walkabout onion soup is the best I've ever eaten and I am a soup lover. The martinis really hit the spot but at $8+ for one it slows you down a little. Very busy and if you can do call ahead seating you'd better. Steaks are as good as any other steak house and the service is on the mark. Fun atmosphere and I would recommend but I'd warn you it will be more expensive than you were expecting.

Good service with friendly staff and clean tables. Selection is great and you can custom order a breakfast if nothing fits the fill. The pies and cakes are good too if you are looking for dessert. Great childrens menu, what kid doesn't like breakfast? Fats on the coffee refills and even though most mornings you'll wait for a table it really is worth it.

Not Kansas Citys best value but the atmosphere is good. A great selection of beer and fun staff. It is in Kansas City downtown so check parking. The food is the usual bar fare but not really up to par. Loud and cheery, famous for the neons that adorn it's windows.
If you are with a group of friends then you'll have fun but if you expecting a good meal you'd be better choosing anther of the citys many bars or restaurants.
