Keep hearing about this great Thai place in the neighborhood, finally tried it out. It turned out to be one of the Osha. They have three locations in SF. The one on 2nd street is fancy. This one on Geary offer faster service with cheaper price, but food is delicious! you wont' be disappointed. I love their noddle dishes and garlic chicken. They dont' serve Osha's sea at this location, so i was a bit disappointed. But, if you go to the one on 2nd street, be sure to try their "Osha's sea", it's the best thai seafood dish i ever tried!

hmm, dont' know why this place is so famous for their crab and garlic noodles. $34.95 for tasteless crab, i rather go to R&G Lounge for much more fresh and tasty crab for $28. Garlic noddle is pretty tasty, but the portion is very small for the price ($9). The service was great though. Big disappointment on their dessert. Although it's in my neighborhood, i probably won't go back anytime soon.

If you are craving for some tasty crabs, this is the place you have to go. They are famous for their freshly seasoned crabs (salt & pepper). If you are planning to go during the weekend, you should call ahead of time to make reservation, this place is packed, sometimes, during weekdays too! Even if you have reservation, it's not guaranteed to be seated upon your arrival, but, you can always order a drink or two from their bar. I also like their "baked Cod fish". It's expensive, but worth every penny. Peking duck is pretty good here too. If you drive from San Jose, be sure to park in the garage cross street, you will get validated parking for two hours.

It's a tiny place hidden in the safeway plaza on Winchester. Although it's very close to the famous Kung Thai, this restaurant has some loyal fans. Pad Thai is a must have on their menu, it's moist and flavorful. Cumin rice is definitely worth to try. i tried couple dishes, and they were pretty good, fresh and tasty. They also have some unique desserts that worth to try.

Hidden in a small plaza on Jacklin, this is one of my favoriate restaurant in Milpitas. The head chef used to be a head chef at a famous hotel/restaurant in Taiwan. This place has a chef special menu that has some really good authentic chinese dishes i couldn't get from anywhere else in bay area, but you need to call in ahead of time, so the chef can prepare for the special dishes. My favoriate one on chef special is "Chinese ham with honey sauce". It's really good, i guarantee you will like it. For starter, they give you couple small dishes, and they are free! I love their minced shrimp in lettuce cup, it's very yummy. I went to this restaurant several times, and i love their food, light (not greesy) and delicious. Dont' forget to order a dessert from their dessert menu.

I go to this place every time i go to LA. They have three locations in LA. If you go there, be sure to get their orange juice that you cant' get from anywhere else. It's buy one get one free. Trust me, you will like it! It's fresh squeezed orange juice blended with crashed ice, but it taste so good. Their food is okay. They sell all kinds of cute stuff, from snack, plates, tea sets, anime books, asian magazines, etc.

This place only open till late afternoon, and it's usually packed after 10ish in the morning.

If you are not a big eater, a bento box can last two meals. They also offer a good selection of side dishes and meat such as salted-water duck, chicken, etc. If you plan to visit one of their 4 location often, be sure to buy a prepaid bento card for $55, your 11th bento box will be free!

Unlike many other tea shops, q-cup has better pearl tea in my opinion. It's not too sweet and has more tea flavor. "Mango Scoop" is one of my favorite drink, it has mango pudding, shaved ice, a scoop of mango ice cream topped with some chopped mango in mango syrup...hmm, yummy. everyone i know love "Mango Scoop". I usually order the chicken snack along with my drink, you can add some pepper and chili power, it's a perfect meal! If you still crave for more sweet, order one of their crepes. Dont' forget to ask for a stamp when you order a drink. After you collect 10 stamps, you can enjoy a free drink, what a deal, huh!
