Don Pablos is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Rockford, Illinois. The staff is always pleasant and the guys…well let me say they are always pretty hott. They have the best chicken enchiladas I have ever had with great margaritas. Located right on east State Street next to Kohl’s. I highly recommend this place.

The burrito's were stuffed with rice and were rather tasteless. It was like eating a rice cake with very mild salsa. For some reason I found having to pick out the individual ingredients to go into my burrito somewhat annoying..but maybe it's just me. In my book, this place just doesn't stack up to the local burrito joints

This was the place I have always been looking for. I'm not a huge drinker, but having a place with an interesting nightlife all it's own is very important. The belly dancer on Saturday nights is very high-energy and she just adds to the enjoyment of the total experience. I can’t even begin to explain the ambiance with all the drapes and pillows…great place.

But Bacci's thin pizza boasts a crust that bakes up fresh and soft, yet sturdy enough to hold lots of the kitchen's tangy, slightly sweet marinara sauce and a respectable amount of mozzarella. The five or six pieces of sausage on our slice seemed a bit lonely on that wide plain of pie, but the ones that were there had a nice meaty texture and spicy flavor.
