Kim Hair & Nails isn't worth saving a buck 8/10/2005

I went to Kim Hair & Nails to have my nails done (acrylic tips). It's located in a dingy shop, next to Albertson's and H&R Block. The manicure was very inexpensive -- but this is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." The end result was okay, for the price, but wouldn't have even come close to passing muster at a better salon. My manicure only lasted a few days before the acrylics started to feel like they were coming loose. I probably could have done a better job with an at-home acrylic tip set. I rarely have fake nails put on (and only for special occasions, when my nails are too short to look nice). But, next time I do have it done, I won't be going back there. more
