In the downtown area of Fort Worth, Texas, there is a cute little store called the Retro Cowboy. We went in thinking that we could find a cute little shirt or toy for our daughter, but I ended up getting something for myself instead.
The store had a variety of western (cowboy) clothing, gifts, and memorabilia. From their website - Retro Cowboy is far from country; it's more like “western with a kick." I think that pretty much sums it up!
I bought myself a Dr. Pepper cake mix and frosting mix as well as a “Dublin Dr. Pepper.”
The lady behind the counter was very nice – she gave us some history of Dr. Pepper and described the difference between regular Dr. Pepper and “Dublin Dr. Pepper” which they sold in the store. (By the way – “Dublin Dr Pepper” is still made with the original recipe using cane sugar.)
If you are in the Fort Worth area and need a cute gift (or a Dr Pepper cake) – I recommend checking this place out!
