This place has a huge selection of garden décor items for your home and yard. They have a lot of porcelain and cement fountains, stepping stones, figuerines and statuary, garden stakes, etc. A lot of the items you can see on display outside in the sun around the shop, but they also have items inside the shop for your yard and home. The shop is located in Old Fair Oaks. The owners have been advocates for the Fair Oaks community for a long time.

They have a good selection of guns in-store and also can special order a lot of different guns if you want one that they don’t have in-stock. We had difficulty once we actually placed an order though in getting the product we special ordered. The shop contacted several of the wholesalers/distributors that they typically work with and none of them had the product we were looking for. They gave us a refund of the deposit we had put down on the product though. In addition to guns they carry other gun paraphernalia like holsters, ammo, safety gear, etc. They have an indoor shooting range at this location.

They have a large selection of guns to choose from including handguns, rifles, and shotguns. They also have other gear for guns like ammo, holsters, safety equipment, and some hunting gear. They also have jewelry for sale in the store. Their prices for guns are very fair.

This is a great place to have your violin or viola repaired. John handcrafts violins for sale and so he is very good at making repairs to your fine instruments. We had him repair a really nice wood bow and also do a minor glue repair on a wood viola. He pointed out the minor glue repair on the viola when we brought in the bow to have him repair that and we had him take care of the viola. We noticed the difference in the sound that his repair to the viola made right away – so much better! This is a craftsman who knows what he is doing!

This is a less expensive tow truck company for the area. After hours fees may apply if you have them pick you up and it is later. They are pretty fast to come get you, but it just depends on where they have a truck when you call them. Our driver was nice enough to drop us off at home after he dropped us off to the repair shop we had our car towed to (it was nearby). The driver did use some foul language, which we didn’t appreciate (especially if our daughter had been older to pick up on the words he was using).

This place comes highly recommended for your auto body needs. They did a great job matching our auto’s paint color and repairing some body damage to one of the panels on our car. We didn’t have to pay for any of it because someone else’s insurance was handling it, but the estimate seemed reasonable. They also have a tow service if your car is really in bad shape and you need to take it to them.

Try to schedule your appointment far in advance or you’ll have a tougher time getting in because they’re popular.

This store also has a location at the Anderson Outlets (now being called the Shasta Outlets). They are one of the only specialty scrapbooking stores in the area. They have a big selection of 12x12 paper (all open stock) and embellishments, stickers, Jolees, and albums. This store, I found out, tries to carry different inventory than their sister store in the outlets. So if you can’t find something in one of the stores, try the other one. This is a smaller store than the one at the outlets – pricing is basically the same at both of them. This store is just a retail location, they don’t have a classroom area at this location.

This wharf is filled with souvenir shops, seafood restaurants, and boat whale watching tour ports. It is very touristy, but fun to walk along. If you walk to the far end and look out past the marina over toward the other wharf you can see the harbor seals lounging on the beams under the wharf. There are some good observation lookouts here that you have access to. Enjoy the stroll and try all of the free clam chowder samples that the restaurants will start hawking at lunch and dinner time. In the evening the hanging lights add a romantic atmosphere to the wharf.

Don’t bother visiting these outlets that are just down the street from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We went inside and the majority of the mall was totally deserted with empty shops. We felt like we were in a ghost town – only store employees were inside all of the shops! There did seem to be a cool kite store upstairs, but we didn’t stay long here or buy anything. Maybe it was because we visited during the “winter season”?
