This is a fun place to take family and friends and enjoy some traditional Brazilian BBQ. I suggest going for lunch and ordering the buffet option. It costs a lot less to eat lunch than dinner there. You still get to eat most of the more popular kinds of meat that they will bring around to you on big skewers and slice onto your plate. Dinner mostly offers some of the more exotic meat options and there’s a bigger variety. Also be sure to get some of the grilled pineapple (it’ll be one of the options coming around to your table on a skewer). The buffet provides a variety of traditional Brazilian foods, but also has some Americanized offerings for the picky eaters in your group. The desserts look tantalizing, but we typically never have room to eat any by the time we get to that course. Try the guarana soda for a traditional drink (it tastes like cream soda with a twist) or have a Brazilian lemonade (really limeade) – both are yummy.

We didn't have too great of an experience here. The steak I ordered medium-well was completely undercooked and had to be sent back and they overcooked the fish we ordered. We didn't really care for the food much here at all. I'm sure it didn't help that we don't drink alcohol and the place is known for its brewery. The atmosphere is kind of a fun mod-Egyptian-type theme though (the building even looks like a pyramid).

Ottavios is delicious Italian food at its best. Most nights they have live entertainment (singers or accordion players) who wander throughout the restaurant entertaining diners and serenading special tables for tips. Make sure you get reservations as this place is popular and fills up quickly for dinner. Lunch is easier to get in. The atmosphere is great – very Italian and “Godfatherish” – think the Sopranos. It’s a nice place to take your date for a good dinner on Center Street. They also do business luncheons for small groups in-house. If you’re thinking Olive Garden go here instead – there really is no comparison and it’s not that much more money.

Betos has great quality Mexican food for not a lot of money. In fact, it is downright cheap to eat here for the amount of food that they give you. Their burritos are HUGE! They have a big menu to choose from too – regular ground beef, carne asada, fish, chicken, etc. They also have several kinds of salsa to top off your selection with. Eat in or take out here. The place looks a little worn on the inside, but the food is good.

This is a great art-glass shop. They sell all of the stuff that you need to get started or are an old pro at glass art for stained glass, mosaic glass, glass beads/jewelry, and fused glass. If you are more of an admirer than you are an artist yourself, they also sell beautiful pieces in their store like lamps, stepping stones, sun catchers, stained-glass windows, hand-blown art glass, and more! They also teach classes at various skill levels on a variety of topics and have a large quantity of pattern books you can purchase too. They have private classes you can sign up for or also offer them through the community adult education programs, etc. I know they also do special classes if you have your own group/birthday party/etc. that you want to bring in. They are very knowledgeable and their selection of glass is pretty extensive. Really fun to walk around and see everything on a sunny day inside the shop!

This is a brand new movie theater complex. I was surprised to see how many different screens/movies they could show at a smaller location until we went to actually see a movie here. It was like being in someone's home theater room! There were just a few rows of seats and we had to sit pretty close to the screen so it was kind of like being in the front row at a normal theater even though we were sitting in the middle here. However the picture quality and sound were both excellent as were the comfy chairs. They have the kind that you can raise the armrests up on to snuggle up to your date. I don't know how big their staff is, but the theater seemed kind of littered with refreshment papers, etc. like someone didn't clean up from the show before ours. We'd go here again though.

This restaurant has a decidedly old west/lodge style atmosphere inside. Decor includes antler chandeliers, rustic accessories, big stone fireplaces, etc. Booths are large and comfy and elevated off the floor. Food here is plentiful-- they serve giant portions and many different items with each entree. We really liked the hot muffins with our dinner and found our main entrees good, but didn't knock our socks off so we wanted to rush back the next night. They have an enormous chocolate cake (many many layers) you can order for dessert (and other items) if you actually have room after your dinner, but we never have any room left. Giftcards are available if you want to give one. It can get busy so call ahead to find out what the wait is like. Service was good.

Just went to this store for the first time and found the amount of stuff in it totally overwhelming! You have to follow arrows around the store just to see everything and not get lost! Some conveniences that they offer parents were super great -- drop-in daycare/babysitting for while you shop. If you do need to take your kids around with you they have "Play Stations" (not the video game system) set up around the store strategically (and frequently) with activities for children to self-entertain while the parents look at the different rooms/furniture. I found it really helpful to see several sample rooms decorated with their furnishings to see how they used items in different ways. Everything here is about maximizing your space, organizing efficiently, but still living comfortably. There is also a cafe-type of eatery and a snackbar inside the store if you are there for the long-haul. The item names of things are in Finnish which can be a little confusing so you have to look at the item tags for all of the details. They provide maps of the store with an area for notes and little pencils so you can write down items that you like that you want to order/look for later. They have quality stuff at an affordable price and the selection offered is amazing. You're sure to find some style (traditional, modern, etc.) that fits in your home here.

This credit union has the best rates in comparison to other local credit unions. They do make up for offering the higher savings rates by having some fees that are higher than the other local credit unions so I would suggest you make sure that you don’t use their “fee” services frequently. Their branches are super busy all of the time so I avoid going inside whenever possible. They do have drive-up ATMs and walk-in ATMs which helps, but you will still find yourself dealing with the headaches of busy banking sometimes. Some branches are open on Saturdays, which is nice (just get there early so you are actually helped in a timely manner). They offer all kinds of loans, sell discount theme park tickets, and also sell money orders. They have a free checking option and also offer free online banking/bill pay. We have had them goof on several things so that we have to go back in to sign papers or reorder checks a second time. So far no major problems though.

This place has TASTY ice cream. It’s the good stuff too – none of this ice-milk stuff without any of the fat in it. I love their extra creamy whipped cream and thick gooey hot fudge. In addition to being an amazing ice cream parlour, they also serve soup and sandwiches and the like. If you don’t have time to sit down for a great sundae, they offer takeout. There was another location and then it was sold and finally closed. So this is it for the area!
