I was introduced to the Kingfish by my brother, who is friends with the head chef. He had told me about it for years, but I never got around to going. Now, I regret not having gone earlier, and won't get those years back. Every time I have been, the food has be delicious. He doesn't live far from there, so its a great opportunity to get some family time and a great southern meal all in one shot. On the weekends, it can get very busy, and in the summer, there is often a line outside. Believe me, it's worth the wait.

We go to Dad Watsons about once a month for lunch, whenever we are craving bar food. The food is pretty good, I enjoy the Mac and Cheese. The stuffed burger is usually pretty good too, but a little on the expensive side. Whenever it's an option with my meal, I go with the tater tots. It's in Fremont, so the parking can be a bit tough at times. It's never too crowded for lunch, and the service is good. Overall the experience is not great, and not bad, it just gets the job done.

For many years, I was scared to go to the dentist. But when I got a cavity, I finally had to face the music. Based on another review on Judy's Book, I decided to try out Dr. Winston. I couldn't be happier with that decision. Dr. Winston and her assistant were both so nice that after the last of my appointments to take care of my x-rays, cleaning, and cavities, I was actually bummed that I wouldn't be back for a while. Dr. Winston described everything that was going on, explained my x-rays in detail, and was very gentle while working on my teeth.

I make a pretty regular visit to Guaymas for lunch, and usually end up ordering one of their burritos. Each time, I tell myself not to eat the whole thing, that it's too much food. But I don't have that type of willpower. I tried splitting one with a co-worker, which resulted in the proper amount of food, but other co-workers quickly questioned our manhood. First my willpower, then my ego. There's no winning.
The food I have tried has been all been good, but I would say their specialty is burritos. Bring your appetite.

The main source of fried chicken for me growing up was KFC. Because of this, I never really craved fried chicken. Until now. I had heard a lot about Ezell's, but only recently got around to trying it out. Now, there is a good chance that Ezell's will contribute to my early demise.
I really like the 'spicy' version. It isn't really all that spicy, but instead flavorful. I guess calling it 'flavorful' on the menu, might make the 'original' seem unappealing. Also, make sure you get an extra roll. I think it absorbs some of the grease, which may keep that heart attack at bay.
There's no seating, so be prepared to get it to go, or eat it in your car.

Overall it wasn't a bad experience, other than the service was a bit slow. The food was good, but not great. Price was just right. They do have a little parking lot which is a bonus. I haven't decided if I'll go back, but for now, my quest for a good Italian food lunch joint goes on.

The Peoples Pub was my first experience with real German food. I was pretty sure I wouldn't like it, but boy was I wrong. Jon, the owner, took the former head chef to Germany before opening the bar so that he could experience the food as it was meant to be done, and come up with a good selection for the pub. It worked.
They also have a great selection of German beers, which are quite good. The menu recommends a beer for each meal.
The sad thing is that two of my favorite items are no longer regular items on the menu, but do occasionally show up as specials - the bacon wrapped jalapeños, and the rouladen.
The bartenders are great as well.
If you're walking by on the street it can look empty because of the layout, but head to the back and you will generally find a good crowd in the bar area.

I'm not really a fan of Cycle Barn, but they are closer to me that CyclPath, and have a pretty good selection of parts on hand. The store is huge, and they sell a large variety of Harley and Metric bikes and parts, but the experience isn't very personal.
There is also an Outlet center attached which has more of the feel that I like. The parts guys there are generally more helpful than the Harley parts guys in the main shop, and are more familiar with custom bikes. They're all part of the same company, but they seem to have some sort of rivalry. One part guy said to me that the guys in the main shop think 'If it ain't Harley, it ain't right'. He's right, that's sort of the feeling I get when I talk to them.

I built a custom motorcycle and when I need parts, or service, Cyclpath is where I go. They service Harley and Buell motorcycles. It's a smaller shop located in north Kirkland. Phil, Jennifer, and Jeff the owner, are always very nice to me. One of the mechanics is generally rude to me, but he's a biker, and you run into a lot of guys like that.
Even though they were extremely busy before the Sturgis Bike Rally last summer, they managed to work me in so that my bike would be ready for the rally.
If you want to get your bike truly dialed in, they have a Dynojet to get the most HP and torque out of your machine.

Kwanjai has become our primary stop for lunchtime Thai food. There are so many Thai places to choose from in Fremont, and many of them are quite good, but the service at Kwanjai puts it over the top. We go there about once a week, and recently when we were waiting across the street to cross, the waitress came out and held up her fingers asking how many of there were. She prepped a table for us before we were even across the street.
The lunch prices are fantastic, and most of the dishes I have tried have been very good. Soup comes with lunch.
