We had our wedding photos done by Adams Street Photography. I can't remember the name of the photographer but he did an excellent job. He really knows how to make pictures look good. He told us all about the lighting and angles, etc. so we felt confident that he would do a good job. We are very happy with our wedding pictures. I do wish I could have had more choices as far as location and types of pictures that I wanted. I felt like he "told" me what would be good (and they were) but he didn't let me have enough say. I really would have liked some outdoor pictures and more special shots rather than posed.

We stopped at this mini golf course on our way out of town. We had three little kids playing and they had a blast. We only did nine holes because the oldest was only 5 and they had enough fun doing nine holes. The course is well kept and the people working there were very friendly to our little family. It wasn't too expensive either. I hope that next time we are in town, we'll have a chance to go to this course again. I know my kids will be looking forward to it. Maybe we'll even get eighteen holes in!

This was a fun zoo to visit. It is a little smaller than we are used to and it is a fun place to spend a morning or afternoon. We took 5 little kids and the paths weren't too long for them to walk on and they could get up close to some of the animals. The children remained entertained as well as the adults. We weren't there for too long, but I am glad that we stopped. It made our long car ride much more enjoyable...a fun place to stop.

This waterpark is inside of the Country Inns and Suites. We did stay at the hotel but I believe that you don't have to (you can get wristbands from the front desk). It was a lot of fun for our small children and they spent a lot of time in the pool. There is a larger, deeper pool for bigger kids and adults that has a waterslide. The pool that we spent the majority of our time at is about 1-2 feet deep and has a small slide, a waterfall, and other fun pieces. The pool also has inflatable balls and floaties that are fun for the kids. My children spent hours and hours in this pool. The only negative was the noise. It was VERY loud and scared my infant (although not our cousin's infant).

We went to this restaurant with 10 adults and 7 children. We had a good time because of the people we were with, but the food was just okay. In fact I didn't eat much of mine at all and my children just picked at theirs. The table was put together near the host stand and it was a bit distracting. Also we were across from some booths and I always felt like my chair was too far into the isle to make walking by easy for other people. My biggest complaint, however, was the food. I really wish it would have been better. We won't be going back when traveling there again.

I LOVE going the the Rittenhouse Inn. My husband and I have only been there twice but are planning our third trip. You have to eat a meal in the dining room if you go because it is 5 star excellent food. I don't know anything about the cook, but it is extremely good food. The rooms are spacious, bright and they include a private bath with is very nice. The people are incredibly accommodating. We had dinner one night (3 hour meal) and decided to go for a walk before desert. They brought our desert up to our room and it was beautiful. Wonderful place to visit.

The Blaine Discount store is located in the Crosstown Mall off of highway 65. It is a small store with a little bit of everything. I like to look through there every once in a while to see what kind of bargains I might find. Some things are definately not a bargain (paper/pens you can get at WalMart or cheap things with cheap materials). Once in a while I find a calendar for a dollar or some small toys for my children. There are goody bag type gifts for children that are a good deal and candy is also a good deal. The clothing is cheap material and there are a lot of plastic trinkets that I wouldn't buy.

The Refuge golf course is fairly new and it is the first course that we have ever had a membership at so it is difficult for me to judge the value. I think it is a good value. The course is well maintained and is a bit difficult, which makes it a fun challenge. The clubhouse is also clean and friendly. They have good food and nice, friendly people working there. My husband golfs at the course 8-9 times a month during the summer. You can also book a wedding reception or other event in the clubhouse.

Buca is a fabulous Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is very Italian and they serve "real" Italian food. The food is served "family style" where you pass the dishes around so you get to try a bit of everything. Because of the large dishes it is very difficult to go with only a couple of people (although they do have two person meals). It is a much more fun place to be with a large family and they take reservations which are MUCH needed on busy nights. A little pricey but the food is fabulous!

Underwater World is a fun place for families and kids of all ages. The prices are steep but look for coupons. You can chose to listen to a tour guide, or you can go through on your own. There is a moving floor that you can stand on and go through or you can step off of it and take a longer look at something interesting. At the end there is a petting pond as well as the expected gift shop. My children have enjoyed the aquarium a couple of times but it isn't a place that we go to often because of the price. You can find Underwater World at the Mall of America.
