Glazer's has everything - not only a wide selection of camera equipment, but a knowledgeable and friendly staff that can answer any question. I was happy to see that they were not just a camera store a la Kit's Cameras - they offered both film and digital equipment, new and used equipment, lighting, backgrounds, developing equipment, books - anything relating to photography, you can find it at Glazer's. Its location is pretty easy to get to from I-5, and with three separate stores, I avoided long waits for assistance.
I've purchased some equipment from Glazer's, but my favorite aspect of this store is their rentals department. It was very useful for me to be able to rent equipment and know if that was what I needed or wanted to purchase, and the rental rates were very reasonable. Some items required you to reserve them well in advance, especially during the peak wedding months, but I've always been able to rent what I needed, when I needed it.

As with any church, if you're a permanent member you will almost always find the church a warm and welcoming place. Not being a permanent member due to frequent moves, I have not felt as welcome as I had hoped. The sense of community seemed to be very strong there among members, but it was hard for someone like me who was just looking for a congregation to join for only a couple of years to feel at ease.
That said, I enjoyed the church's services. I enjoyed Reverend Ed Brock's sermons as well as the lay-led services. All were spiritually nourishing and left me with a lot to think about on my own. The services flowed well and were enjoyable to attend. Additionally, non-traditional events are common, with home potlucks, discussion groups, interest groups and youth groups making the church even stronger.
The RE program for the little kids (preschool-elementary age) was excellent; my children always had fun and wanted to come back. I enjoyed their art projects and loved hearing about the books they read. My only wish is that they had RE year-round, but due to staff shortages this has not been possible.
The email bulletins are extremely helpful in keeping up to speed in the church's happenings. Members also receive a bulletin mailed to their homes that has more of a "church newsletter" format.
EUUC is a great Unitarian Universalist church that would be a great fit for newcomers intending to attend regularly for a long time.

Sakuma's location on Mukilteo Speedway road makes for high visibility - I took my daughter for a dinner there and was disappointed with the experience. The menu felt limited; the service was extremely slow; the atmosphere inside felt cheap. The food was good but as the menu was limited, I wasn't too satisfied with my selection. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Azteca has the right ambience for anyone. I've been there with my family, with my friends, and as a quiet dinner. In all my experiences, the staff has seated me in an appropriate location, not seating me next to a family with small children when I'm there with another adult.
The food is great; the menu is varied and has always come to me hot and fresh. I've occasionally had to wait a little longer than I would expect for our dinner, but overall the service has consistently been excellent.
The margaritas are a favorite of mine, but I couldn't possibly pick one course as a favorite - every time I go, I try something new and love it!

J'aime Les Crepes - I love Crepes - this little place lives up to its name. Serving delicious, fresh crepes with an assortment of fillings from sweet to savory, J'aime Les Crepes is a must-stop restaurant for anyone with a little time to spare on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry route. Just outside of the ferry waiting area, its location is ideal for the commuter who only has a few minutes to spare or for the tourist who wants to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and some delicious food.
My favorite item, I believe a seasonal crepe, has fresh strawberries, dark belgian chocolate and sliced almonds, topped with a generous helping of whipped cream and a sprinkling of more dark chocolate.
The small restaurant smells of fresh lavendar (which they also sell), but not overwhelmingly so. J'aime Les Crepes serves delicious espresso drinks to accompany their crepes - I enjoyed my hazelnut latte as much as I did my crepe!

Espresso Connection has been one of my favorite places for drive-thru coffee in Seattle. I always get friendly service and great coffee. Espresso Connection is one of the only places I can find that offers dilletante chocolate as an option for a mocha - a semi-sweet chocolate, it doesn't overwhelm a drink with too much sweetness. They always have a daily special, usually some fabulous and unique concoction for a killer price. This is one place I will miss when we leave the northwest!

After a fun day on a nearby park, my friend took us to this local hot dog and sausage restaurant. I was impressed with the variety of the menu but the prices were a bit steep - $6 for a hot dog, which didn't include the drinks or a side dish.
The 'dogs were high-quality and delicious, and their selection of chips and drinks was less of "Lays and Coke" and more of "Kettle Chips and Odwalla". I was happy with the taste but felt that I didn't get my money's worth. For a family of 4 including two small children, we spent about $30 for hot dogs and chips.

A night at Teatro ZinZanni's "Dinner and Dreams" was a gift given to me for my birthday. Having never heard of it before, I didn't know what to expect. All I was told was to "dress well".
When we arrived, we found an assortment of outfits, from dinner casual to vintage formal dresses, many accessorized with feather boas, plumed hats and sparkling masks. TZZ has an area in the main lobby where you can purchase accessories if you came unprepared, and we each bought a high-quality feather boa ($35). They also sold costume jewelry, men's top hats and vests, costume masks, and other miscellaneous items.
Onto the show: My friend and I entered the tent - the tent that doesn't feel like a tent but more like a regular restaurant but with a peaked ceiling - and were taken aback by the scene. The room was mostly filled already and quite crowded, arranged around a circular center stage and with a side stage with a band playing live music. Upon our seating, we found our appetizer ready and waiting for us. A mediterranean-inspired appetizer of dolmade, hummus and roasted red peppers, I was delighted with the quality of the food. Shortly after being seated, the show started. We were treated to an ecclectic, well-produced show with a wonderfully entertaining cast. A cross between Cirque de Soleil, Moulin Rouge, and a fabulous dinner, everyone from the cast to the staff serving the food was dressed in old-fashioned suits, corsets, short skirts and fishnets.
The show was captivating, drawing gasps, laughter, and wide-eyed stares from the crowd. Including the audience in the show made for a fun twist on an already fun show. The dinner courses were brought out between acts, giving you enough time between to avoid feeling "stuffed", but never allowing you enough time to feel hungry. Each new act began at the tail end of the course, but it was arranged perfectly so I didn't feel rushed to finish and I never had to wait around for something to happen.
The food was excellent; beside the aforementioned appetizer, we were treated to a cold cucumber soup with prawns and tzadziki and an egyptian inspired salad before the main course. I chose the pomegranate-marinated beef with a delicious, light, creamy yogurt sauce served with fruited barley and lightly steamed green beans. For dessert, we were brought "Passionfruit Pyramids", a passionfruit mousse atop a crust of crushed almonds, served in the shape of a pyramid. The food was delicious and satisfying and the service was excellent.
My first drink of choice was the ever-popular cosmopolitan. I was disappointed in the drink as it contained much more fruit juice than the cosmos I enjoy, but my next drink was an MacIntosh Martini that was just the right balance of high-quality vodka and sweet Apple Pucker.
Overall, Teatro ZinZanni was a combination of great entertainment and delicious food. My only complaint was how crowded the room felt when everyone was seated. It was difficult to move without being uncomfortably close to another guest. The cost of the food and drinks, while on the expensive side, was worth every penny as we left full from a delectable dinner and still excited from a sensational show.
