Ivar's is a favorite of ours any time we're down by the ferry or the beach in Mukilteo. The restaurant is great - order and eat outside, or sit in the restaurant inside that sits out on the water. There is no going wrong!
The clam chowder is delicious - rich and creamy, hot and chunky, the perfect food for those dreary northwest days. Besides their famous clam chowder, they have excellent fried fish and huge french fries. I love buying a bag of food and taking it to the beach to warm us up. Even my kids devour the clam chowder!
