Flat Iron Mesa Park is a park located in Sandy. This park has 2 distinct areas one for young kids and the other is for the older kids. The real thing that makes this park unique is its large hill that separates the two areas. This hill is a large part of the park because in the winter kids will sled down this large hill. In the summer kids Ice block down the hill, If you are not familiar with ice blocking it is where you get a block of Ice from the store place a towel over it and ride the block down the hill. It is pretty fun. If you have not tried it, then you should give it a try, or at least stop by the park on a sat afternoon and watch the kids go ice blocking.
