I needed an eye examination quickly and Dartmouth Street Vision Center was able to give me an appointment the very next day! The receptionist/assistant was very polite and helpful on the phone, she gave me directions to their center and accommodated my work schedule. The doctor was nice and was honest and patient with my concerns. When I was browsing through the eyeglass frames, the assistant was helpful and selected a few pairs that she thought would work with my face. Unfortunately, the selection of eyeglass frames was small, so I will be getting my eyeglasses at a larger office (i.e. Lenscrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical). I would recommend this place to a friend if they needed a reasonably priced eye exam in a hurry! I paid $69 for the eye examination.

If you've never heard of 'bubble tea' a.k.a. boba before, it is a tea (usually flavored) with tapioca pearls. The tea flavors range from milk tea to passion fruit flavored tea. The tapioca pearls are usually black-colored and chewy fun! As far as I know, Lollicup has the best bubble tea in Boston. I have tried many cafes' bubble tea - including several in Chinatown, however, none compare to Lollicup. The tapioca pearls are always cooked perfectly - firm but chewy. Lollicup also has an extensive menu featuring flavored snows, slushes, and shakes in addition to the normal tea. There are tons of inventive ways to consume those interactive tapioca pearls!

Well, my review title should be self-explanatory. J P Licks makes amazing ice cream. Not only are the flavors interesting, but the serving sizes are quite large. This quality ice cream is a bargain and is great for all ages. The crowd is diverse as well - even though this location is on Newbury Street. You see punk kids, preppy young adults, professionals, children with their grandparents, motorcyclists, and everything else in between at this ice cream joint. It is a versatile place - a great place to go with your friends during the day and/or with a date for a casual after-dinner dessert. Additionally, if the weather's nice, this is also a great location to people watch! Finally, the sprinkles (or jimmies) are free! :)
