I used to stop there every Friday or Saturday to pick up a copy of Chinese newspapers(I think it was the only place in Westwood where you can buy Chinese newspapers). Occasionally, I walk around in the store for a few minutes before my bus arrives. They have a pretty good book selection on Chinese history, culture, art, society and people. Most of the books on sale in their store are in English. They also have music CDs, art posters and some other small artifacts on sale at the store. Employees are super nice!

Amoeba is the best music store in Los Angeles! Huge selection on CDs, DVDs, and other music related products from around the globe. You can virtually find anything you want there, even stuff you cannot find on ebay. I have never left there empty handed. I love the jazz section in the back room. There are a few listenning booth behind the jazz section, I can always take some of the CDs and play them there. Well, i guess the best part about going to Amoeba besides the great slection of music products is every time we go there, we gotta drive down the beautiful sunset boulevard.

A good vintage clothing selection for men and women. Prices are relatively high for the type of products (vintage second hand shirts and other clothes) they are selling. They also have shoes on display for sale. I think they only have a few styles, but variety of color selections. I have never bought anything from them, but every time I pass by their shop I will go in to check if they have anything cool.
They place always play some cool music though! That is always a plus!

Universal studio hollywood is one of the only two biggest attractions of Los Angeles, or say southern california. It has great location, weather, overpriced food, expensive merchandise.... I lived in Los Angeles for five years and had been to this place once....and that was enough for me! I guess I am not a amusement park person

I go to Rose Bowl every year during college football season. It's the home of UCLA football! Everything about the Rose Bowl is great, except for the parking problem. there is never enough parking spaces at the rose bowl, you have to park miles away for the game. It's good the opened up the golf course next to the stadium for parking purpose during the game. I bet the golf course actually make more money off the parking than from people who play golf there. The stadium is beautiful!

The famous Getty Center is an outstanding place to go during the weekdays, not that many people, you can enjoy the whole place yourself. It is really close to Westwood, if you visit west Los Angeles...
The famous Getty Center is an outstanding place to go during the weekdays, not that many people, you can enjoy the whole place yourself. It is really close to Westwood, if you visit west Los Angeles or Santa Monica you have to stop there. To get to the Getty Center, you park your car and take the train to the top of the hill (parking is five dollars, everything else is free). When you are on the top of the hill, on a clear day, you can see the beautiful Los Angeles. Getty Center is a great place to go for everyone!

UCLA is the place to be! The education, the location, the weather, the town, everything about it is just so great! All year round, you will find so many stuff to do at UCLA. Obviously, UCLA athletics plays the biggest part in my school year! I go to football, soccer, volleyball games in the fall, basketball games in the winter, gymnastics and baseball in the spring quarter. Pretty much all the games are free to students, you can just walk in to a game on your way to or from the library!

Great fish dishes, yummy chicken in a grainy mustard sauce, and . Also, delicious pizzas. For dessert, try the bread pudding or the "chocolate decadence". Definitely not an "every day" place (especially on a student budget), but great if somebody else is paying. Also, bar scene is classy...defin itely not the cheesy Madison's or Maloney's vibe, with sloppy drunks and frat jerks. The place is really beautiful, with some very cozy (and romantic) areas (the "Rotunda" room, and the upstairs balcony - very private). Go there at least once before you graduate!

One of the best restaurants Westwood has to offer - whether going out with friends or family, for lunch or dinner. Very classy and pleasant atmosphere and staff. I had the California Veggie Sandwich and it was a super vegetarian sandwich. It was packed with lots of tasty, well-prepared veggies and a good sauce. It's the kind of place you can leave and feel happy about having eaten there and spent your money (even though you may have spent a bit much of it) there, not guilty or sick for a high-fat and disgusting meal.
