No seriously. The owner is related to Mamoun's in the village (NYC). He worked there before he opened his own here in Jersey City. Personally, I like Ibby's better than Mamoun's.
Tiny little place, (really, seating capacity is like 8 people). However, there is standing room for the hordes of people that want to "pick-up and go" with their tasty little falafels. I have the number on my phone so I can call in my order.
A wide variety of middle-eastern dishes, and the baklava is divine.
The place is usually really crowded during lunch-time, but the taste is consistent and it's oh-so-cheap! Which is good, because I can never be satisfied with one.
Great choice for when you don't want to cook. Great stop before you head out on a Fri/Sat night on the town.
