I used them to alter a brisemaid's gown a couple summers ago. I will admit, I gave them quite the challenge b/c the top of the gown was unique and hard to alter, and I needed it done within a couple weeks. They met the challenge and performed a miracle with this bridesmaids dress - the fit was wonderful. The color - not so much - but that wasn't their fault :)

This place is an amazing place to go to. The bad points are the parking is tight and the store is jammed packed. However, it has a wide range of antiques in there at decent prices. You could spend hours looking at it all. I have two dressers from there that for an extra $25, they delivered. The delivery service was on time, polite, and careful of the items and my home. Definitely worth the $25 I paid!

The Briarwood location has a slightly more upscale collection of items, but still, a large selection. Some items are pricier, but the quality is better too, and the customer service is excellant at the Briarwood location.

If you're looking for those hard-to-find Birks, this is the place to go. They have a whole line of "alternative" footwear. They stock mens, womens, and childrens shoes and their selection is impressive. That said, the cost will make you go running to Payless! If you plan on living in just one pair of shoes, then it might be cost-effective to go here. But look elsewhere first and see if you can find it cheaper someplace else. My husband spent $100 on a pair of sandals there only to find a comprable pair that he liked better at another store for $50.
