For those that are able to travel by private aircraft, Guardian Jet Center is an outstanding facility that provides incomparable service. The line crew are attentive to the needs of both the flight crew and the passengers.
Guardian’s fuel prices are also highly competitive.
For those that are visiting during NASCAR race weekend at California Speedway, Guardian provides a viewing area as well as catered lunch and dinner for flight crews.
These people are focused on service and it shows in everything they do.

We were very disappointed with our experience at Max’s Grille. The menu contains many choices at reasonable prices – and based on our experience I wonder if they are trying to do too much. The food quality was below average and poorly presented.
The service we received was far below substandard. Our server frequently disappeared for 10 to 20 minutes at a time. I don’t mean she didn’t stop by the table, she was nowhere to be seen in the restaurant.
Max’s Grille apparently sells itself on its 3-4-1 martini special. The martini served to my wife was nearly undrinkable so this “special” was anything but in our eyes.
We have no plans to ever go back.

Juanita’s, a hole-in-the-wall place that most people would drive past without hesitating, serves some of the best Mexican food available at any price anywhere. Juanita’s is a small take-out place with a few outside tables.
I recommend the carne asada burrito with beans, rice and cheese. Juanita’s cooks all of its meat with an intense flavor so almost any choice is a good one.
Although I can’t imagine one of their burrito’s not being enough, the tacos are simple shredded beef/cheese/lettuce but still full of flavor.
It's worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

Quite simply, Hickory House is one of the best rib houses out there. They slow smoke the ribs all day so they are tender and nearly fall off the bone. The BBQ sauce served is very good and adds to the flavor of the meat rather than cover it up.
Hickory House is open for dinner and fills up quickly. There can be a long wait even on weeknights.

Rock’n and Jam’n is an indoor climbing gym that provides a wide variety of top-rope climbs. It has a bouldering section as well. I think it is a great place for beginners to learn but I'm sure it's great for advanced climbers as well.
We had a child’s birthday party there and the kids had a great time. The belayers were attentive to the kids and provided good instruction.
I followed up with a climbing lesson so I could belay my kids and really learned a lot. I’m not ready for outdoor climbing but can go into a climbing gym and belay for my kids with confidence.
