It is a fine dining establishment and a fully function inn set in a historic compound.This restored mansion and carriage house is located on Valentine Hill and overlooks formal gardens, the Oyster River, and the Old Mill Falls. The room was lavishly decorated with Georgian Mahogany furnishings, rich tapestries, antique artwork, polished wood floors warmed by oriental rugs, and overstuffed lounge chairs and sofas. if you are lucky you can even get jacuzzi rooms. A great place to stay in Durham.
