Normally, I don't really enjoy books by American authors; but this is an exception. This book is amazing--I couldn't put it down. Francie Nolan is one of the greatest heroines of all time. I might be too young to fully understand what it was like growing up in the 1920s, but I could definitely picture Francie's life.
This is an amazing story and one I definitely recommend for high school students (some content might be too adult for younger readers.)

This is a family owned dental/orthodontia practice. They one other location in North County. The worst thing I can say about these nice people is that once you have your appointment you can't change it for another day (like if you had a family emergency) and that you have to call to confirm your appointment and if they don't get your message, then you loose your appointment. But other then that, the people are always super nice and after a couple of visits, they know you by name.

We are doing some remodeling on our kitchen and bathroom. Once everything was almost done in the bathroom, we realized that we made a big mistake. We needed to rotate our cabinet and put it against a different wall. We called Ideal, and they were out the next day to look at the job and give us an estimate; a day or two later, they were out and working on the job for only a few hours. They moved the pipes for the sink and the electrical without any major problems. They worked fast and didn't keep us waiting all day for them to come (unlike some other contractors).

Windmill Farms is just like Henry's, only it's more convenient for me. It's right by my daughter's high school and I can easily get there. The produce is great and stays fresh for a while. There's a big variety of fuits and veggies, meats, snacks, health foods and coffee beans that you can grind youself while you're there.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. We were very happy with the work that the workers from Kitchen Idea Center did. All the workers were professional, on time and extremely polite. Their work was excellent and everything worked out in the end. We had very few problems; there were no major problems and all minor problems were resolved with a quick phone call to the office.

I was assigned to do a little research on the air quality in my neighborhood. My teacher gave us this website to use to find our information. It seemed really simple--just enter the zip code and the web site will have the information. But it really isn't that easy. True, the information is there if you know where to look for it; otherwise, this website is a waste of time. I spent most of the time on Google trying to find the answers to my questions on a different website. The web site asks you if their information and set up of the site is valuable and useful--take a minute to let them know how unhelpful they really are.

Wiley Publishers does college/AP level textbooks. The main site has links to the different textbooks that they publish. Each textbook has a ton of references for each chapter. There's a vocabulary section that will quiz you will flashcards or show you a glossary of the words you need to know.
Many textbooks nowadays have website, but this is one of the best I've ever found simply because it has so much to offer students.
