I've used this shop numerous times. They are mainly collision spcialists. They truly know how to fix up your car after it's been in an accident, and make it look like it's never been in any accident. The people there are very honest in their work ethic as well, and don't try and hide anything from you. They also have a towing service, so if your car needs to be picked up, they'll bring it to their fix-it shop. The turnaround is usually pretty quick as well.

Jenkinson's Pavillion is the place to be in Point Pleasant, NJ. Aside from the great beach which is right there, the boardwalk games and arcades are simply terrific. At each stand you can win prizes, and the arcade is simply addicting - every game you play you can win coins or tickets, and if you have enough "points", you can win some pretty amazing prizes - but be ready to bring a chunk of change to do it. Great fun for the family, although, again, it can get pricey pretty quickly b/c there are a lot of things you can do.

I used to go to this amusement park when I was little. Almost all the rides here are designed for kids, but they accomodate parents as well. There are a lot of rides that little children will enjoy, including a few wet ones. Simply a great place for a family outing. And if you don't bring your own food, they have plenty of great food for you to purchase as well, even though the park is on the small side.

Keansburg is a small-scale, family oriented amusement park. Half the park is dry-rides, with a few roller coasters, and the other half is a few water rides. There are also a number of carnival style booths at which you can win prizes. Great place for a family to go for a day. Only warning is that Keansburg is notorious for having injuries on their rides, probably more than any park in the area, including one of the biggest Six Flags in the country.

Dock's is a great restaurant in NYC, serving some of the best seafood around. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance, with very open spaces that lend itself to a nice private dining experience, although you can definitely tell the place is busy when you're there. Even though it's known mainly for seafood, my favorite item on the menu is the NY Strip Steak. Not only was it grilled perfectly, but it had an amazing sauce that was just slightly sweet - it complemented the meat perfectly.

Howard's books is a rather small bookstore located near the campus of Northwestern University. For its size, it manages to keep a pretty fresh stock of books onhand, especially when it comes to reference books, although many of the books are old or used. The great thing about this shop is that all the books are discounted each month based on when they came into the shop, so if you wait a little longer for a book, you can get a better price.

Of all the diners in North Jersey, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorites. As a good diner should, there is just about everything imaginable on the menu - I still have no idea how they can cook all that stuff if it's not ordered frequently. The food is pretty good, and the wait staff is always friendly. The only bad part about the diner is sitting too close to the smoking section, as it really can get to be bothersome if you don't enjoy smoke.

The Plaza Salon is your generic hair salon located in a mall. Most of their clientele comes from walk-ins, and thus many of the stylists are under pressure to speed up their haircuts. Unfortunately this does not lend to a quality haircut most of the time, which I have received a few times. But if you need a quick trim, this place will do just about as good a job as any.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, although the drawback is that you may have to wait a while to be seated as the place is always busy. Their signature item is a variety of tapioca smoothies, which are simply to die for.
