OK so this is just a gasoline minimart, with all the normal selection of road trip food, maps, beer, etc.
But -- this place had the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in any minimart ever. I would drive an hour just to use the bathrooms here. This is the stop to make on your way to or from the Cascades from Yakima.

The setting makes it better than average. Set inside a set of old railroad cars in the downtown railroad core of Yakima, surrounded by other shops set in similar structures. A pretty unique setting, fun for families and groups. And they handled our group of 40+ diners pretty well.

Davey has done ok for us and they have been in business for a while. They don't just indiscriminately prune, our trees look better than a lot of the pruned trees we see in the neighborhood

We've been going to Mark Allen for several years now. We've used a variety of stylists, and we've had both men's and women's cuts. We've been pretty happy, the stylists are pros and we've never had a disaster. Parking isn't the greatest, you can usually find a spot around the corner on the street near La Cocina Del Puerco. Or you can park across the street in the park, tho I can't vouch for the legality of this.

OK if you can't find what you need at Home Depot, Kelsun is the place to go for crazy lightbulbs. All shapes, all sizes, in bulk amounts usually. I buy my flicker bulbs for halloween here and they have them of course in 3 different base sizes for all the different kinds of fixtures i need. But you can buy any crazy thing here. Not really a retail store, they will look at you funny when you come in, and bring check or cash
