Great room service, even at 11pm. Valet super prompt and great with directions. Right in the heart of town. Just a super place.

This hotel has been rebranded the Genesee Grande and has a fresh coat of furnishings and appointments. On the surface it looks nice enough, and it is very close to Syracuse University. But a lot of motor noise in the rooms, abysmal water pressure, an uncontrollable hvac system in the room -- the infrastructure of this place is suspect.

A great place for deep dish pizza. super busy but they have a good system -- taking your order while you are standing around waiting, so that by the time you get to your table, the food is on the way. Super convenient parking in the garage next to pizzeria uno as well.

ESPNZone is a fun place to stop. SItting in the lazyboys upfront watching 10 screens at once is a blast. And the store is great -- they sell the most comfortable boxer shorts on the planet. The food is ok but it is not about the food.
You have to wonder why the foxsports grill in seattle is so boring, all they needed to do was copy espnzone.

OK rich has a point, they need to heat their pizza a little more. But a good variety of pies by the slice, and their daily specials are usually good. And close by the hospital areas, good location.

The Hojo in Yakima (old facility but new management) is an adequate place to stay. Rooms were clean, staff was nice, location is good for getting to the Sundome. The restaurant is just soso and the bar closed at 930 on a friday evening! By most accounts, the Red Lion up the street or the new Marriott Courtyard would be better choices, but the Hojo's is OK. Free WIFI internet access!
