Cucina Mia worth a stop
I've had sandwiches here and really enjoyed them. Nice service, too. A good stop if you are in Quincy Square or if you are visiting the library. I just wish they were in a spot that had parking.

Nice work and great service
After a small fender bender, I went to Mike's Auto Body to have my front bumper, grill, and lights replaced. They had a rental car there waiting for me and did the work in a few days. The car looks...
After a small fender bender, I went to Mike's Auto Body to have my front bumper, grill, and lights replaced. They had a rental car there waiting for me and did the work in a few days. The car looks great, the employees were helpful and pleasant and I didn't have to drop-off or pick-up a rental car.

Allure Spa is a nice quite spa right in Quincy Center. I have had many services here, including eyebrow and bikini wax, manicure and pedicure, bridal makeup and hair, and a semi-permanant hair color application.
I have always had a very good experience, especially the waxing and pedicure. Ask for Linda - she really is the best. I have very sensitive skin and her waxes are as painless as can be and super-fast. The pedicures here take a long time and are worth every penny. I have not had a massage or any facials, but my mother has and assures me they are very good.

There's a band on the float in front of the outdoor stone gazebo every Wednesday. We got a table at Intrigue, the outdoor cafe, while people lined up to get tables along the water and cushions for the stairs.
The people watching at Rowes Wharf is by far the best in Boston. In my opinion, it is rivaled only by Au Bon Pain in Harvard Square. Fanueil Hall does not even deliver the entertainment of some of the oddities that appear here on the waterfront. Women with knee-length green hawaiian print skits and white knee socks, men with polyester 3 sizes too small tank tops, handsome men with girlish shoulder length cornrows....the free-spirited, the overly pretentious, the wealthy yet low-class....it's all here folks.
We sat and lounged over dinner with cocktails and then a few beers. Our waiter was unattentive, the food mediocre and very overpriced. But the sounds of Frank Sinatra wafted over to our little table, a warm and beautiful night, a cold beer, and sights abound. A wonderful way to spend a Wednesday.
So, for a nice evening out, go down to the hotel, get there early, grab a cushion, and listen to some blues or swing for free. Try to avoid the restaurant and just grab something to eat beforehand. They also show movies, so check it out.

Could it be the non-pretentious host/ess? Could it be the personable bartenders that make a perfect cosmopolitan? Maybe the way the atmosphere relaxes everyone around you, leading to delightful conversations with fellow dinners waiting for their tables.
The steak tartare is the best in the city. Better than the Capitol Grille. Better than Morton's. Better than the multitide of places in and out of Boston that I've tried it. The best.
The steaks are cooked to perfection. The a la carte side dishes only suffer from the time it takes to choice just a few. And the waitstaff! I have only have incredible experiences when it come to the waiters I have had here.
I don't go to Abe & Louie's that often as the price makes it a special night out. It's worth every penny. If you are a steak-lover, it's the place to go.

If I want more than take out, I'll go here. If want something that's really going to hit the spot, I go elsewhere.

I've eaten at all the great names in Boston and Sintra is comparable and closer. I truly enjoyed their tasting menu and the wine recommended was perfect. A cozy, dimly lit spot. Service was casual and had a few slow patches, but I never felt rushed or ignored. I'd go again and again and recommend it for a delicious evening out or even for a special or romantic occasion that won't leave you driving around all night.

I do get a lot of take out from here and I'll tell you why...it's good. It's not nasty Chinese, but fresh and filling. They also have pho and pad thai. To be honest, if they had tom kha gai, there menu would be the perfect Asian takeout. you can eat in as well - they just did their dining area over and really are nice people.
I don't get Chinese take out anywhere else.
