Pacific Supermarket has anything you could need for Asian groceries. My favorite thing about this supermarket is the variety of fish and seafood and way you can order your fish. You can have them cut it anyway you want. One of the best features of this supermarket is that you can even have them deep fry the fish for you and take it home.

Joe’s Cable Car has the best old fashion burgers in the city! They have been in the same spot since 1965. I went to school around their so I have been going there since middle school. If you have not been to Joe’s the closest thing I could think of would be Fuddruckers. But in my opinion Fuddruckers has nothing on Joe’s Cable Car. The burgers at Joe’s are so much better because the meat just tastes better, much juicier and fresh.

Whenever I go to Bangkok Garden near Westlake I almost always order the fried rice and Pad Thai. Parking can be a problem sometimes but I think it is well worth it. For desert their fried banana drizzled with honey and a scoop of ice cream (my favorite is vanilla) is a must.

If you are in the Glen Park area and want some affordable tasty Mexican then head over to La Corneta. It can get crowded at peak hours and parking can be somewhat of a problem but it is well worth the wait. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area (outer Mission) I like their burritos and nachos much better.

I have been going to Roxie’s my whole life. If you want a great sandwich just head over there. Personally I always order the roast beef on Dutch crunch. They have a good selection of meat, cheese, bread, everything. Another cool thing about Roxie’s is that you can order sandwiches over the phone and pick them up whenever you are ready.

The first time I ate at L&L I was hooked. I could not get enough of the chicken katsu. For about six dollars I can get a regular plate of chicken katsu, two scoops of rice, and their amazing macaroni salad. Sometimes I will even add a spam masubi (spam sushi) or two to go. L&L is easy to find, just look for Albertsons on Mission St. a couple of blocks down of top of the hill and L&L is in the right corner with the big yellow and red letters. If you really don’t want to look hard for parking in the front, there is a small parking lot in the back with plenty of room.

There are only two things I have ever ordered at Hawaiian Drive-In, chicken katsu and chicken barbecue. Whenever I am in the mood for Hawaiian and in San Francisco, I always go here. For about six dollars I can get the regular sized meal, which includes lots of chicken katsu or Hawaiian barbecue chicken, two large scoops of steamed rice, and a large scoop of macaroni salad. And if I am not too hungry I could get the mini size instead which gives less chicken and one scoop of rice instead of two.

It is located in the Westborough shopping area in the left corner near the video rental store. Kamameshi House features the sushi bar, booths, and a few private rooms for group parties. The food here is great, nothing less than I would expect from a fine establishment from first entering the doors.
