My husband decided to take our family out to the arboretum for a pleasant saturday family thing. It was, for one thing, extremely cheap at 7 bucks a person for peacocks, exotic plants, and a beautiful waterfall. I enjoyed the beautiful koi pond and all the wild little birds roaming around and all the vegetation that thrives in L.A. It's amazing what a few minutes' drive from a mall could bring a person to. My only regret is wearing heels to the park and coming home with feet that burned.
