The Toe River Campground and Park is a great place to take the kids. You can hike up and down the trails, take a dip in the river, go tubing, or fly fishing. We really enjoy this place for vacations in western North Carolina. There is a fee for day parking to enjoy the river, but it's well worth it to support this beautiful area of the country.
