I have had two outpatient surgeries at Jewish Hospital, Downtown. Both experiences have been great (as surgeries go)!
It is never fun to be facing any kind of medical procedure, but the entire staff at Jewish was so nice and caring that it made my procedures care free at least!
From the time I entered the door until the time I left, I was always greeted with friendly faces. The nurses that prepped me for surgery were amazing. It felt like they enjoyed their work and made jokes that kept me laughing and completely at-ease, despite my nerves.
Everything went very smoothly and every effort was made to make sure I was comfortable and my family stayed abreast of anything going on during the surgery.
